Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 18 → 3/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

This was when companies actually tried to compete with cod by doing other creative scenarios that the mainline cod games often refused to. In Homefront's case, North Korea. Which actually sounds like a cool idea for a story and alternate reality war game. So in the actual game, it's pretty well made. I liked the progression from being taken prisoner in a bus to joining the US army and fighting a counter offensive on the golden gate bridge. The production value and attention to detail shows throughout and clearly these people wanted to make something really cool with alternate history warfare stuff. The weapons were well animated, the game had fairly good graphics for the time especially playing this on an old LCD tv on the xbox 360, guns sound punchy, the colors and environments were very well detailed and felt lived in, and the game has a good amount of polish. It's an excellent example of creative world and storytelling and shows an otherwise often unexplored and horrifying what if situation. Apparently they also did a lot of cool marketing for it. Neat. The game took me about 2 days to beat. Roughly 10 hours. It was a fun experience, and I liked the use of real world businesses like old hooters and white castle. Even had the old menus when the food was actually affordable. I used to go to white castle a lot, the big red and onion rings especially are real nice. It's product placement, sure. But I did like how they were trying to at least ground the setting and make it somewhat immersive. Even making specific lines saying to take out the guys in the hooters and white castle. Good attention to detail, once again. They could've easily just said to shoot the guys in the fast food place, but they recorded specific lines for them and had posters and little menus. A lot of games don't bother at all. You'd be lucky if you get half a game for upwards of $100 at this rate. Homefront was trying, but fell short in a few ways and this is where I get to the gripes I had. 1. The game just abruptly ended as Connor sacrificed himself to be a target for jets to bomb a North Korean Convoy, and they didn't even bother showing the aftermath or doing something like an ending narration. It felt like the first act was done, and by all means, it basically was the ending to the entire original ip. It's a really solid start or act 1 to a cool game, but it really shouldn't just be the whole game. This is unfortunately where a lot of early 2010s games messed up. Abrupt endings, a lack of content and features while a slow sense of dread starts to pop into the back of your mind as you wonder if you got robbed. This is when it was just nothing more than a distant alarm bell. If only we learned... 2. There were times when quicktime events would just outright fail. I'd be looking in the exact spot I needed to in order to plant the tracker on the truck at the tiger direct or pop the flares at the ending fight with the goliath, but it just wouldn't work. Sometimes being weirdly delayed, often when opening doors too, and one time when I had to lower road blocks, the logic changed from pressing a button and watching an animation to standing in the open and holding the button while hoping the 30 Koreans in front of you miss all their shots. And yes, they infinitely respawn. I checked. So no pre-firing or clearing the areas unfortunately. 3. Monster closets were often used towards the second part of the game as a crutch to stall for time, especially with the rednecks and the aforementioned korean white castle barriers. That's fine, but I could often tell the game was spawning 3 guys in a perfectly straight line, having them do the exact same animations as each other, and it wasn't hidden well. They were good animations, sure, but the exact same one over and over makes them look like terminators or robots. 4. The redneck stealth section made no sense and I imagine was only added to stall for the game's length. They spent all that time making an elaborate country side and refused to bother pretending we were being quiet at the start, then we go quiet, then we stopped caring anymore at one point, which made me wonder why we bothered sneaking at all when they made a point to specify that no one would care about hearing gunshots since they're nuts and just shoot the koreans for fun? If I specifically wrote an in world reason to be able to kill a bunch of guys without alerting the others immediately, I'd absolutely be using it. Not sneaking around like a dingus copying cod's sniping mission verbatim, when the church scene only made sense because it was used to further the plot with soap from mw2 to mw3, or to give context to the bad guy in cod4. Some British news guy says they might have turned the tide of the war in their favor, but that's about it. Nothing is shown and it's left there. The story mode was fun, but due to the short length they couldn't realize an interesting idea to its full potential, and it goes off with a whimper. The online pvp is empty. There are some servers, but no one's playing anymore. People do still play sometimes on PS3 but otherwise, no dice. That's unfortunate. Overall, Homefront is a fun but short experience that's often cheap. And I imagine it'd run on alomst anything, seeing how it's an xbox 360 generation game, and basically every game from that time runs well thanks to the lower fidelity graphics. I recommend. Fun game.

cool game
Anemic and thoroughly unpleasant on every level. Connor's one of the most annoying 'follow this guy and watch him do everything' characters I've ever seen, with gunplay that's simultaneously too realistic and too arcadey. Just not worth your time.
