Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 18 → 3/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A solid Call of Duty-esque shooter that lacks a unique hook to make itself stand out more. Also, while they do put a lot of effort into making the setting believable, the idea of North Korea taking over the US is just kinda silly. Still, I can look past that if it means we will get more games where we can have shootouts in a Hooter's.
The game which dared to ask "what if Red Dawn, but North Korea?" before the Red Dawn reboot did exactly that just 1 year later. Homefront is 4 hours long and packs about 7 levels - one of them featuring a mass grave and another one an actual Hooters. The female lead is named Rihanna and the boss roars like bass boosted ED-209. Also it opens with a Hillary Clinton jumpscare. Really disturbing stuff. Anyway there was a multiplayer here but it's gone now (kinda?), so you're stuck with the campaign. Me myself I have a special fondness for 2010's army slop - it's not exactly what I'd call good but damn it is fun. If you share my unfortunate obsession, you'll get your money's worth. This goes for dirt cheap on sales btw.

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Loved the campaign, 10/10
I enjoyed the game but it is simply too short. Gameplay is ok but the storyline is very forgetable and most events happen off-screen. Got it for like 1 euro so I can't really complain

My time with Homefront is not something I’d write home about or recommend to anyone. If I had to pick a highlight, it would be the gunplay—it’s serviceable. Surprisingly, the story also isn’t as bad as its reputation suggests. Instead of the usual Russians-or-Vietnam setup, it imagines a unified Korea that rises into a global superpower and becomes a Roman-esque empire occupying the United States. Fighting an occupation on American soil—something that hasn’t happened since the Revolutionary War—is actually an interesting premise. Unfortunately, nearly everything surrounding that premise drags the game down. The characters are decent on paper, but in practice they are unbearable. They never stop talking, and worse, they’re slow—not just in combat, but in progression. Story beats are tied to your allies physically moving to specific locations, which means you are constantly forced to wait for them to catch up just to advance the game. In one instance, I ran so far ahead that my allies suddenly teleported to me and dumped about a dozen lines of dialogue all at once, stacked on top of each other. I appreciated that I didn’t break the game by moving too fast, but the moment was laughable and completely immersion-breaking. Enemy design doesn’t help. Enemies respawn endlessly unless you keep pushing forward, which discourages tactical firefights and ammo conservation. It forces a run-and-gun approach whether you want it or not, and it clashes badly with how often the game won’t let you move on until NPCs catch up. To make matters worse, enemies will randomly alternate between being harmless cannon fodder and laser-accurate gods, which feels inconsistent and frustrating rather than challenging. So you end up stuck in an awkward loop: You’re forced to wait on slow, chatty allies to progress Enemies respawn endlessly unless you advance Enemies are sometimes absurdly accurate Allies contribute almost nothing in firefights On a technical level, the game also hasn’t aged well. There’s frequent pop-in, noticeable clipping, and several bugs. I saw enemies running in place against objects as if trying—and failing—to reach cover, and dead bodies sliding across the ground in prone positions like they were ice skating. None of it is game-breaking, but all of it adds to the feeling that this experience is rough and dated. Multiplayer might have been a highlight back in the day, but it’s 2026, and I’m judging this purely on the single-player campaign. Even at the $1.99 I paid, I can’t recommend it. There are simply far better shooters—both old and new—that respect your time and offer a more cohesive experience. There’s no reason to pay to play this game in 2026.
It's okay. Very short (which is good or bad depending on your schedule). Interesting premise, art, and lore (the newspaper collectibles are very well-thought out. Sadly the game is so short they had to sort of stuff them into levels haphazardly). Dialogue is corny. Product placement is amusing (rare aesthetic). Overall relatively original 2010's "modern shooter." Suffers from some jankiness in the controls and several frustrating bugs (the old "toe getting stuck on ledge," and similar). Lots of invisible walls. Would not pay more than $2.49 for this one. Can't recommend unless you're looking to relive the 2010's in terms of gaming. Might be worth an afternoon.
Donbass lore
I can't recommend this game to most people. It has an incredibly short campaign with a story that I could not at all get invested in. The gameplay is okay, but there are invisible barriers everywhere, and you are often waiting on NPC animations and dialog to finish to get to the next part. It's not a very pretty game, but it looks okay on max settings. If you want to play, I would wait for it to be on sale. It is not worth the full price in 2025.
