10/10 The most immersive Urban Guerilla Simulator you'll find. The plot of the game might be a little outlandish, but you can tell the devs put a lot of love in this game, and it's too bad it didn't get that love back after release. I love how open ended the mission system is, you have so much freedom to conduct your guerilla operations however you want, and if you don't do hit-n-run style operations you will be overwhelmed by a more powerful army. It's very respectful to its central theme, the open world is gorgeous. Visually, the game holds up in 2025. Bonus: you can play it with 60+ fps without dlss/upscaling. If you want a chill atmospheric open world FPS, this might just be it. Play without HUD and on highest difficulty for the best experience.

Homefront: The Revolution tries to present itself as an open-world experience, but it never truly feels as free as it claims. Missions and activities quickly become repetitive, and the gameplay rarely manages to be genuinely fun. The limited weapon selection doesn’t help either, leaving combat feeling a bit flat. Overall, it’s an okay game with a solid premise, but it never rises above mediocrity.
this game still has performance issues.game freezes randomly but sometimes is fine I dont know what is the issue. red zones become boring too soon but yellow zones are fun. Its a shame I liked the game idea.
Homefront? Never heard of her. Timesplitters 2 on the other hand, ABSOLUTELY! Download the Timesplitters 2 Redux mod for the most optimal experience and in order to skip having to play Homefront and inputting a bunch of codes. Do note that in order to run Timesplitters on Linux, you must cut through Homefront and pick it in the extras menu after installing Redux, as the direct shortcut is only compatible on windows but the game itself runs just fine. It's worth the minute of loading screen. Timesplitters does have a few bugs. No Mapmaker, no save/load profiles so your progress won't stick and overscrolling will eventually cause a crash in the Arcade Custom. However, the game is fully 100% unlocked and completed for you and plays wonderfully even on a low spec machine. Suffice to say, if you're in it for Timesplitters 2. I'd definitely say go for it but more so on a sale. Obviosuly the actual game exists for a reason but a pc port of timesplitters after all this time is blessing in itself and that's personally what I came here for.
Played many hours on Xbox and Ps4 now i own it on PC the hate this game gets ill never understand. Turn off hit markers and up the difficulty and the combat becomes very fun. This game will always have a spot in my heart. The first game as well loved it as a kid
