Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.86/day in the week to Aug 29 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

very fun game i played it through three times and i still haven't gotten bored of it, i have gotten every achivement and i am still finding new stuff,i have a mid pc and it run with almost no lag and only charhed once, great game i highly recommend.

I love the combat as well as all the new weapons, couldn't be happier with this game. Cant wait for a third installment of this amazing series, hoping to see the mysterious Dr. Gurgula
9950x3d 64gbddr5 9070xt amd card by far a god tier setup and while running on high to medium graphic still get crash reports and my game is not smooth freezes Hella epically when using the time bubble and putting alot of shots into it. game is so poorly optimized after so long its disappointing no where as smooth as the first

Man this games writing, humor, gameplay, and creativity are next level. I loved the first one and couldn’t wait for the second one. the only downside is that there are bugs and visual glitches at times but I can overlook that cause I thoroughly enjoyed the game.
5 stars. not as much smack talking as the first and not as grate but still a fun game. cant wait to save the universe in the next one.
I really wish at times there was a middle option for reviewing games. I have to give this a begrudgingly recommend but I am fighting for its life. I don't blame anyone that is turned away from the horrible optimization , bugs and softlocks. I think this game has a good amount of issues but it is a fun game at the core of it. It's a game than can be fast paced game but not super fast nonstop like Ultrakill or Doom Eternal. TLDR : I wish this game was better optimized as that’s the main turn off for a lot of people and other reviews , I would give it a hard fought 7 out of 10.
We pick up 5 years after High on Life as our Bounty Hunter is a celebrity icon and is rich and famous. We appear on talk and game shows , get placed on product ads and appear in infomercials. We learn our sister Lizzie is a eco terrorist and with a bounty on her head , we go to confront her. We end up breaking the Bounty Hunter code and are branded a traitor to everyone. We as the Outlaw begin our war against Rhea Pharma along with our sister and Gene to stop them from legalizing humans into pills just like the G3 wanted to do
The Good parts: the new skateboard replaces your movement entirely and makes the game feel like Sunset Overdrive or a rail shooter. This skateboard is your movement and the upgrades let you wall run , grind on rails and even parry , dodge and act as a stun. The new Gatlians (Sheath , Bowie , Travis and Jan) are much needed additions and add to that balance of finally having longer range which really helps the flow of combat. You also get a Half Life 2 Gravity gun in your left hand (Shoot O) that lets you toss enemy ragdolls with lethal power or suck up armor kits for your shield. No Justin Roiland so jokes don’t go for 12 minutes and explain why they're funny You cant spam the special abilities of your guns and only have 3 Bounty Juice (your recharge) but the cooldowns feel a bit faster Achievements are not as grindy as the first game and you only really need 2 runs if you catch everything The bosses feel like a step up from the first game (probably since theres more of them and they have their weakness to a Gatlian) There is fishing in this game and its not the worst fishing ever , not feeling as grindy as other games might have it. Your skateboard opens up a lot of movement and for once a game is fast paced but not sickengly fast with hard mistakes. I get people can like that style of games but not every game needs to copy that format or formula. Its fine having a slower game that can be fast paced if you want it. There is a lot of customization for the Outlaw going from Bounty Suit , Shoes , Cosmetics for your Gatlians and your skateboard. So you can dress up and style on the bad guys What I don’t blame people for being turned away (the ugly) There is a mission where you have to save your divorced dad from a cult of mutants. The whole mission he is a whiny and petty ♥♥♥♥♥ that even as your sister , your mom as well as you are fighting for your life against mutants. They make it a huge point that he sucks and is a sad useless sack of crap. It could have been peak if you gave one of your Gatlians to your dad so you and your family could fight your way out of the cult.A lot of people found it creepy that your mom hooks up with your BFG from the first game. They even go and have a kid together which is your half-brother Jeppy who is human and Gatlian mixed. (don’t ask about biology).I think if there was going to be a divorce , they could have explained more about the dad sucking or why it wasn’t working. If Lezduit had more of a personality then just saying his name , it wouldn’t sting as bad. It feels forced and super jarring because they want you to hate the dad so much but praise the mom for being so powerful and loved? There is a lot of heavy handed Reddit lingo against Corporations , Billionaires and Podcast bros. Its all worded in that way of "I can agree but the way its spoken is annoying". The Bad stuff Endgame is a joke because there's practically nothing left in the world. The 3 zones seem way smaller than the planets in High on Life. So if you took a few detours during the main story of High on Life 2 , you'll have a empty endgame save a few grinding achievements. No enemies will spawn after the final except at wanted posters (if you didn’t do them). This makes the whole game super empty considering most of the zones are all in a city. On one planet. I REALLY hate how you cant go back to the previous mission locations (Hidden Zoo Labs , Poltical Con , Wyoming Cult , Rhea HQ just to explore some more) Compare this to High on Life and High on Knife where even after you did that campaign , there's still plenty of enemy spawns at their old bases. This game is short. The missions only feel long because there is a lot of talking in all of them and I've had times where I progressed faster than the game intended so I have to wait for the dialogue to catch up There is some enemies and weapons that appear in one level only and never show up again. Flint Turtles , Cannoneer slugs (which are a flamethrower and a rocket launcher) , Cultist enemies (save one boss at the very end of the game). It is annoying to have it in one level and never see it again. The new Gatlians (Sheath , Bowie , Travis and Jan) powercreep the old Gatlians hard. Sheath is a true burst assault rifle with a 3x stacking instant kill spike , Bowie will kill pretty much every beside a boss with one headshot arrow , Travis and Jan are your dual desert eagles and can just mow down enemies. I barely used the old Gatlians outside of their puzzles for combat. This game loves softlocks and bad performance , the Last Checkpoint is your friend in the menu and I've fallen through the maps because it didn’t load on time. All in all , I wanted to be fair and point everything with this game. I have it 100% and I have done 3 full playthroughs with it. I really feel bad for this game because it had a atrocious launch with them immediately dropping a roadmap for hotfixes and first impressions are important. I really want High on Life to be a good franchise / series but I feel this game really was a hard bump for Squanch Games
