Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

About
Join the chaos of war and be a part of the most iconic battles of WWII across the Eastern and Western Fronts as well as North Africa. Key battles include Carentan, Omaha Beach, Stalingrad, Kursk and more. Hell Let Loose drops you into the action, where you will have to fight across fields, bridges, forests, towns and more war-torn environments! Lumbering tanks will be dominating the battlefield and crucial supply chains fuelling the frontlines, you are essential to the colossal, combined arms warfare.
Take to the battlefield in this squad-based, 50v50 multiplayer game, and choose one of our 14 roles available within the Command, Infantry, Recon and Armour unit types. Play as an Officer, Spotter, Medic, Tank Commander and more, to experience every aspect of World War II combat. Each role is equipped with different historical weapons, vehicles, and equipment that are intricately detailed, bringing the realism to the brutal and bloody warfare. Unit focussed gameplay is crucial and when done well can command the tide of battle.
The combat takes place across huge, to-scale maps, recreated by utilising aerial and satellite imagery of real battle locations in stunning detail using Unreal Engine 4. These realistic battlefields are divided up into large capture sectors allowing emergent and constantly unique gameplay to evolve between the two forces of fifty players. Work as a team and make continual large scale, tactical decisions as to where to attack or defend.
Hell Let Loose is not about kill to death ratios – teamwork is central to gameplay. Communication is essential. Players work together beneath the leadership of Officers and their Commander to take strategic targets on the battlefield and dominate the opposition. In Hell let loose, it’s always better to tackle things as a team. If you think you can handle the chaos of war, we’ll see you on the frontlines!

"Waiting in Queue" simulator 2026. Not recommended since half your time spent in the game is spent in the server list waiting for a spot to open up.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 17: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Now that HLL: Vietnam is out, this isn’t the worst Hell Let Loose game anymore.
I played this game for a thousand hour on epic games. I played mostly competetively as a tanker. Here are my 2 cents. The developers are actively killing the game by infrequent and buggy updates. They mostly have the right focus, but poor execution overall. They introduce new changes in a half assed manner and expect us to be happy. The changes they make introduces many bugs but those bugs take weeks to fix. They usually wait for the next big update to introduce fixes. They make ridicilously stupid balancing changes to the tanks that I'm certain that not only they play their own game, but they also ignore the community feedback. Balancing and updates aside. The game has a really bad problem of player retention. It's not entirely the developer's fault, but the gunplay they developed allows experienced shooters to mow down inexperienced players until they quit. I introduced many people to the game, only for them to quit frustrated. Even if they play really good in more hardcore milsims. This causes the servers to be filled with two extremes: 90% of the game is clueless because they are mostly day 1 players because you can't keep them in the game longer than that, and the rest 10% are cracked level competetive players who don't want to bother talking with the inexperienced players. This results in silent squads, which was the most fun part of the game when I started playing. The gameplay loop is extremely simple. Yet no one knows or wants to do the required thing to win. Because the benefits are indirect and the execution is boring. Are you a squad leader and need to build a garrison? You have ask one of your teammates to switch to support class to bring you supplies. Now, who would want to stop killin people, spend 20 seconds in death screen, run with you for 2 minutes and drop the supplies, Stay in death screen for 20 more seconds, then finally, hopefully switch back to their prefered class if it's not taken by others. Meanwhile you could get killed from gunfire, tanks, artillery. This is assuming the SL and the helping player are experienced and willing enough. Most of the time they are not. This is not a fun gameplay for anyone. And usually the team that goes through this process few more times than other team wins. This makes the games entirely dependent on player competency. But like I mentioned, Competetive shooters want to kill only, inexperienced players don't know what to do. Only few people who wants to make the games more balanced and equal, usually the server owners and the few volunteers from the community, trying to make the dirty work but it's exhausing. I'm not even mentioning how pointless is the node and resource system for average player. Only incentive is extra xp for 5 minutes of your life. Not worth it for anyone. Server management is hard and tools are limited. The game is unmoddable, servers are locked behind proprietary hosting services. Now the tools are not bad for usual operations of the servers, but it's abysmal for the seeding. Not having any seeding tools is actively harming to the smaller communities. Because usually it requires tremendous amounts of efford to keep them afloat. Usually requiring engineering that no other games need. I'm not saying that the developers should make the game moddable. This is a significant change to the game and also opens a whole other can of worms like security. But at least give us some tools to change the gamemodes. Make a seed mode. make a tank only mode. make a better skirmish mode for 15v15 mathces for example. Currenly if anyone wants to make any unorthodox events, they need to come up with tons of rules and maybe do some preparations both as a bot and in the match before it starts. In conclusion, despite the shortcomings, when you play with a coordinated team with experienced players, it's really fun. I still think this is the most fun I had tanking in any milsim games since stakes are not as high as other games at least in casual games. But lack of new players also puts this in jeopardy. Infequent and bad updates make the seasoned players quit. I see many competitive clans closing (including mine) and weekly events dyring up. With the release of Vietnam. I think this game is done. Don't get tricked into buying this game. This game will be dead in few months.
After 4,500 hours in this game I have come to realise that there are not 49 total idiots in my team each game, but 50.
Walking sim that you occasionally get to take turns shooting at each other in empty fields Play rising storm
Run for 8 minutes. Die to someone you never see. Wait 40 seconds to respawn. Run for 5 minutes. Die to someone you never see. Wait 40 seconds to respawn. Get yelled at by commanding officer for not obeying orders well enough. Shoot your commanding officer in the face on purpose. Wait two minutes to respawn. Repeat.

Good game, lots of fun, but you have to play tactically, which means use your brain.
