Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Reviews
With a story that goes way harder than it needs to, a fun cast of party members and goobers about town, varied life sim mechanics to allow for a lot of different exploration or progression, and... combat... that exists... Harvestella is a solid B-tier title I do not regret for an instant.
I don't know what it is with these farming sim games that obviously deprioritize combat, yet make it so central to the gameplay. Just... why? The story seems pretty interesting. The farming is extremely simple, but it's serviceable. There are a ton of charming side-quests to fill the time. So why force players to engage with the mind-numbing combat that no effort was put into making even slightly interesting?

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 29: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

came for the JRPG (since this is from Square Enix), got emotionally invested in farming. Didn’t see that coming... I am usually all-in on JRPGs, so I didn’t expect Harvestella to hit this kind of sweet spot.. but the mix of life sim + JRPG is honestly super unique and stands out from the usual formula. The farming side gave me strong "Harvest Moon - Back to Nature" nostalgia, while the story and character arcs pulled me in way more than I expected. The "comrade" system is nott your typical social sim, but the character stories are surprisingly deep. And yeah, you can get married!! including same-gender options (i know it's absurd and caught me off guard lol, but hey, options are options). Combat is fun and boss fights are solid, but one big gripe: you can’t skip dialogue when retrying bosses. Skipping cutscenes is fine, but re-reading the same conversations over and over? That’s the real final boss 😅 Overall, it is a really refreshing take, cozy farming + serious JRPG storytelling actually works and I enjoyed it way more than I expected. Highly recommended for JRPG fans who want something different..!
If you're on the fence between this and a game like Stardew Valley, buy Stardew. If you already have Stardew, just start a new save instead of buying this. Combat is lame, the farming is boring, the story is boring. Farming is clunky and not remotely satisfying. Combat has no dodge, no block, just exchanging blows and job-switching to use magic or physical attacking. Switching jobs has a significant cool down for some reason, so don't ever expect to handle a battle in a dynamic way. You get to choose between Male, Female, and Nonbinary but don't worry, no matter what you choose your character wears the same outfit: hot pants and go-go boots with a fantasy flair, side ponytail, and wide birthing hips. Customizing you character is nothing more than swapping colors. Your inventory is "full" and won't let you collect any new items, even of the same type that you don't have full stacks of, if every slot in you backpack is full. The majority of this game's dialogue, and by majority I mean 99.99%, is text only. Some party members talk in combat but that's about it. I'm glad I bought this on sale, I'm mad I even paid half price for this bland nonsense. Want a RPG experience? Any other game will do. Same if you're looking for a farming game, the farming in this game is limited and less immersive than the oldest Harvest Moon titles. A $60 price tag for this game is a crime. It's not worth $20.
This is the most 7/10 game that ever was. It's surprisingly addictive and enjoyable but it feels so much like it needed an extra year in development. Great story. Bad dialogue. Interesting job system. Awkward battle system (no dodging, locked into really long skill casts). Engaging side quests. Huge dump of side quests that feel like a chore at times. Overall if you like JRPG's, it's an enjoyable experience, but there are a lot of pain points along the way.
This game is Harvest Moon merged with Final Fantasy! And is a super fun way, like all the best elements of most Atelier games and all the fun of adventure. Really well rounded challenge so far and intriguing story. I started it just a couple days ago and everyday I want to hop on and do more. I keep telling myself one more day in game and then I'll turn it off. lol. Definitely a fun time.
Salut ! -------------------- Conclusion -------------------- Harvestella est un jeu qui me laisse dubitatif...
Harvestella is such a mixed bag to the point I felt compelled to write a review. An action JRPG with a job system, where you supply your adventure both financially and with provisions with your own personal farm? That sounds amazing! But unfortunately it falls short in all these branches. The jobs seems cool and interesting, there is some unique stuff in here. But the combat itself while being an action RPG isn't much more then face tanking your foe and spam healing items as you need them. Some of the boss fights have light MMO like mechanics to them but nothing too difficult. The farming is about as basic as it gets. The best thing I can say about it is it isn't annoying to interact with. All this is still just fine, not as good as i was hoping but its fine. Where this game really stands out and what kept me going was its character writing and its story. I cannot stress just how great these characters are and the fact I enjoyed all of them alot is impressive. The story is interesting, and fun, it had me excited to see where it was going. It really tackles topics like the meaning of faith, or legacy in ways that are handled so well and beyond the typical answers we have seen for these topics time and time again. Then it kinda fell flat in its ending unfortunately. There is a character creator that is so minimal it may aswell not even be there. There is also no accessibility options. So your standard SquareEnix affair. So thats alot of negativity, why do I still recommend it? because in my opinion the good, and great far out weighs the mediocre aspects, I am glad I played it. I got it from a 60% off sale and I think thats about how much it is worth. Just dont pay full price for it.
