I wanted to like this game... but i cant recommend it. unless you like very simple games and youre very simple and easy to entertain then just skip this one. maybe look at the newest harvest moon instead, or something. i messed up and left the game running when i ran an errand and now "played" to long for a refund Firstly, its square enix so i had high hopes, but apparently the highschool interns made this as a project and square decided to sell it, because everything about it is extremely lack luster. why no male character? and no the twink with a side ponytail with hips that would make shakira lie does not count as a male... its the exact same model as the female but wider. and why does every person look like a chibi character that has been stretched out? stamina is needed for everything, swing a sword, swing a axe, pick up a leaf, yep more stamina. its like a mobile game minus the microtransactions. no voice actors? its 2024(well 2022) even indie games have voice actors. you are not zelda stop acting like it. and i know it was made for the switch, why i have no idea... like why make a game for something as powerful as the ps3 in 2022 i have no idea... but atleast optimize it some for the direct pc port... and no higher res doesnt count... why is there sooooo much clipping. its a cutscene that cant be altered why is the characters half way inside of the bed... why is the giant wrist scarf braclet impaling you and the walls. translations are crap. idk what "run down shed" is built like a 200sqft house with bedrooms, fully furnished, kitchens. craft rooom and a fireplace made from a tree but hey let me get one of those sheds too. so far the story is crap dialog is boring and lack luster every choice makes the main character sound like some air head dip ♥♥♥♥, and is written like a tv show for 8 year olds. "youre friend went that way. oh you are sick still forget i said that.... remember they went that way. but do not follow you are sick... good bye... and dont follow" like wtf who comes up with this crap? guess like ill just take a loss on this one, or let my wife play it as shes getting into games now, seems pretty much the only people that will enjoy this are nitwits and house wifes that have only played stardew valley before and think this game is pretty...

It was a random purchase I really hesitated to buy this game but turns out it was really good. I like the art style and whole "magical fantasy game" there is no voice acting so yeah you have to read dialog..(not for everyone) I thought it would be a "life sim" or farm like cozy game but it wasen't: (don't expect it to be hack and slash like devil may cry it took me 40 minutes till i actually experienced the combat), - The story is really good. - The BGM is AMAZING. - The Combat kinda alright as you progress the environment it feels like a real fantasy world, this game has its charm and uniqueness, Its a classic JRPG so if you're not a fan of long dialog, farming , fishing , side story character quests etc and enjoy pure combat it might not be for you. If you're hesitated to buy it wait for a sale, I got 128 hours so far ( did not finish the main story yet) -overall I am happy i stumbled upon this Gem.
I LOVE this game. I love the started valley concept, but not the stardew valley aesthetics. This solves my problem in SO many ways. I hope Square has another one in the future. The story isn't the best written out there in terms of square Enix stories, but it is decent one for sure.
Treat it as a Final Fantasy/Bravely/JRPG with a farming sim as a side flavor and you'll have a really good time. You might even start to like the farming part if you're BOTH JRPG and farming sim guy. Just don't get it if you're really a farming sim focus, there are better farming sims out there.

This game is fun, relaxing and beautiful. The story is boring, I wish I could have skipped most of the cut scenes. I just want to fish, farm and explore. Over all though I thought it was worth it for the money if you buy it when it's half off. The humor in it is quite good for certain characters, that's the most praise the story will get from me. Certain aspects are quite annoying, like the fairies always talking while I farm so I have to mute the game. I suppose over all I'm more mixed on the review, but I like it despite all the reasons listed above.

se que el gameplay de lucha es horrible pero tiene algo el juego que te hace querer seguir jugandolo, su historia es buenisima y la musica no esta nada mal, aparte puedes tener tu granja de chill mientras sigues la historia, ojala le den una oportunidad se que no se van a arrepentir :)
