Топчик, всё нравится: и вампир сурвайвл, и карточки открывать, и жетоны разбивать - всё, что мы любим. Ждём релиза
I missed this. An adventure where power is rewarded for storytelling, where solving narrative powers fuels your martial prowess and vice versa. The jank and stress of the main series' battle system is replaced for a horde survival mode, and while it may seen simplistic at first, one bad draw can transform the battlefield from a cakewalk to a warzone against a superboss.

Waited for them to add autoaim. After adding that this game became enjoyable with mouse and keyboard. Is it perfect? Absolutelty no. But its a solid combination of cards and monster killing. Interested to see what more they will bring. :)

Being a fan of the first Hand of Fate, I thought I would check this out. It's worth a try and I would recommend to anyone that enjoys this type of game.
So far it's what I expected, a survivors-like with that "Hand of Fate" twist, that adds some satisfying narrative progression to the genre. It's got a solid foundation in place, all it needs is the franchise's deck building feature and some more interesting permanent upgrades that aren't just percentage increases.
Ne pas pouvoir configurer les touches en 2026... ça promet.

I would consider a bullet-heaven-lite due to the nature of the game the rounds are short and sweet rather than ever increasing, it's very rare for you to get screen-clearing madness like you find in others of the genre. If you haven't played the rest of the hand of fate series, what sets this apart is that every upgrade has a quest (read: gameplay style) associated with it, some easy, such as just play the game, and some harder where you need a specific unlock in a specific situation which adds a fair amount of replayability - I've completed all of the basic stages of early access without too much grinding (13 hours) and I think that I've already had my money's worth and look forward to it being fleshed out more. There's also a small meta game of dice and card games throughout the rounds adding an element of chance into the mix giving it more than just destroy everything on screen, and in a refreshing bit of player friendly-ness, it's actually somewhat biased toward the player rather than being true RNG my only nitpick right now is that 90% of the enemies are melee based, and melee based heroes are notably more punished for this where ranged heroes can sit back and relax without too much difficulty
i am not sure yet if this game is fun for ME . The one thing that stands out (and is well done!) is acutally the one thing that makes it hard for me to rate it positive --> the "events". its not a "bad" game though, at the moment i would rate it a 5/10. i did only do 2 runs, so this might change later, but for now the thing that bother me the most are: 1. the longer the run goes , the weaker you feel? that could be me , but i played a LOT in this genre and have some general understanding of the mechanics. The thing here is : upgrade usually feel kind of "boring" and weak. the enemies scale very fast, and you are running away more than killing stuff. i see why they did this (otherwise you simpl would ignore the portal etc... but its not fullfilling the powerfantasy of a bullet heaven i like. This might change with more unlocks , but the first 2 sessions did not hook me. 2. The game coooonstantly interrupts your core gameplay. every event / card / shrine or how ever you call it interupts the flow of the game, you have to read it, make a choice, and sometimes do a luckbased minigame (roll dice, draw the cards etc...).. In a slow paced rpg i would not mind this mechanic ,but this genre really lives from the flow of killing stuff and adrenaline , at least in my opinion. Other games have these events/shrines too, but here they seem to make up like 1/3 of the run in terms of playtime.... 3. metaprogression is kind of boring (+2% steps in some basic attributes) ,and also (in my limited gametime) the upgrades during a run are also not super exiting. ( the basics we all know, + damage, + xp gain + crit + armor etc... ). i will give it another 1-2 runs to see if anything shifts to the better, but i fear this one might just not be my cup of tea.
