I bought this expecting something engaging, but only for a couple of hours. The novelty of being city-building RPG wore off the moment I realized the game is a series of basic kill quests and fetch quests with no real mechanics you could enjoy. Building the city is pointless. And if building the city is pointless, then the chores and quests you do for your city is pointless. And if these chores and quests are pointless, then there is no motive to play the game. Now the game claims adventure and strategy, but neither are involved. Your adventure is a chore. The city-building is uninteresting.
look i love a good sandbox game or a good dungeon crawler game or a good town builder game. This a blatent cash grab. it is dissapointing and does the minimum with all of those game designs. i love when a game does anything new even its combing two types of games that were well done. but like i said they did the minimum effort.

This game is clunky, pretty ugly, and spoonfeeds "content" like a free mobile game with no thought and barely any effort required. Not my thing.
This is a very basic game that has very little depth to any of the systems and it gets repetitive quickly. I also encountered a bug that prevented me from progressing the main story and was unable to find a solution for.

The game has janky movement, bad combat but i like the idea of building a town in this manner, it seems to have a decent amount of content for the sale price but fairly limited amount of mobs. the building seems to be the main aspect of the game, i enjoy the game so far, but would love some combat or movement update, though i doubt they are still working on the game. it has a very city builder management type of feel, hopefully it won't be too annoying to feed the towns people, so far so good, this is just an early review as i've only played for about 20min, but can recommend it for the sales price currently.
Overall: 6.5/10
Nice game for 12-15hrs. Simple mechanics and combat. Became repeatable rather fast. Got trading cards and achievements - "added value" increases rating. Building town is nice. NPCs sometimes gliches at movement/location but restarting game usually fixes it. Could be better control responsibility, combats sometimes happens to be sluggish and messed.
For a boot leg colony sim, I was quite pleased with several features from this one. I wish I could take a pawn from rimworld and play it in first person like this game.
Enjoying this one quite a lot on the Steam Deck, but not exactly stable framerate unless you lock it to 30hz. An easy and laid back game that does not require too much focus or attention. It can get a tiny bit repetitive as most of the fun comes from expanding and managing your town. Gathering the necessary resources is the "thrill" so once you get the hang of how to harvest resources efficiently, you no longer feel stuck with progression. While not everything may be clear and simple at first, especially when using a controller, once you get the hang of it it becomes a breeze. Grinding resources are necessary for full achievement completion and some day/night cycle waiting is needed to progress the story that cannot be sped up. Depending on what catches your eye about this game, it may or may not be to your liking after taking these things into consideration.
