I've played the original on Xbox, the remaster in various forms, hundreds of times. I truly love those games. I felt that this remake was a a BLAST to play. I rarely pay full price for a game let alone extra for early access and deluxe editions. I even introduced my girlfriend to halo playing this game (she tried the original but couldn't get into it). She and I have had a ton of fun playing the campaign together. There is plenty or re-playability as well to get skulls and terminals. As well as being able to customize your campaign experience with the skulls as well. I felt the three new missions were a little lacking in the beginning but by the end I was ready to play more! All and all, if I want the original experience I have a great version of it through MCC to play anytime. I love the new graphics improvements. The game plays buttery smooth (after day one patch). Overall its just a blast to play and I love the little changes they've made to dialogue. Really added some depth and cohesion the the original story. Can't wait to see what else the have coming up. (if that's still happening)

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

THE GOAT, THE GAME OF LEGENDS!
一个游戏是怎么做到又臭又长又短又单薄的?
I'll start by saying that I started playing halo when it first came out on the original Xbox. I have purchased and played every single halo game up to this point. I am a huge Halo fan and that is never going to change. I enjoy playing this game more than I enjoy playing the original. I may be in the minority on this take but that's my opinion. I like the movement, and the gunplay is more satisfying than the original. The graphics are awesome to look at. It still feels like the Halo I remember, but improved on a lot of levels. There are some positive changes made to a couple of missions that desperately needed them. If you play on easy or normal difficulty the AI can feel very stupid, but on Heroic and Legendary they will give you a run for your money. There are valid criticisms about the changes in dialogue for Johnson and Cortana but if I'm being honest they don't bother me at all. My biggest complaint about this game is the content. This game desperately needs a firefight mode and or multiplayer to increase its longevity. It needs more skins and customization options for completing the game on higher difficulties or completing objectives of some kind. Replaying the game with a mixed up set of enemies and skulls is not enough to keep people playing this for a substantial amount of time. As an entire halo game, I can't give this any higher than a 8/10 due to the lack of content. If I'm judging it solely based off of the campaign experience I had, I'd give it a 10/10. I really enjoyed it.
Not perfect, but worth the money IMO. I think they did a great job on this remake
I absolutely love playing this remastered version of the original Halo. I still have the original disk from when Halo launch on the "Xbox" console. That console still works all these years later by the way. The graphics are great, especially on the 40" TV I use for a monitor, and the bonus missions are fun to play. I bought the premium edition that launched on 7/23/2026 and I have 19.1 hrs of play time. It is worth every cent.
Pretty faithful to the original. Few easter eggs are disappointingly missing, but overall, it's a BLAST co-op.
If you've NEVER played Halo, I wouldn't start here. However, it's basically a modern OG Halo, so you it's fun. I enjoyed it like the original, but I won't see myself wasting countless hours in this one, regardless of remixes and skull. I don't like how the game babies you though. I hope they will improve upon its flaw with the 2 and 3 remaster.
It's halo CE but actually enjoyable to play.
