Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 7 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It's SAO but actually good

Great games. Please remake the older titles as well.
was gifted to me by a friend because I like .hack//SIGN and the books, only 4 hours in and I'm really enjoying it! I honestly would've bought it for myself (because sale) had my friend not gifted it to me so quickly after mentioning it. The music, the setting, it's all well done and familiar for an MMO player. I'm super hoping //Z.E.R.O. also gets a steam release, and eventually IMOQ. Definitely making sure my friend who bought it for me hears allll about my first playthrough ( •̀ ω •́ )✧
Its a fun dungeon crawler from the ps2 days, but the gameplay is mostly a vehicle to keep the story moving but it works well enough, if a bit menu heavy. Play if you like story games with a good chunk of background lore stuff amounting to a playable anime. Skip if you just wanna play a flushed out game. Watch .hack/roots to get the context of whats going on and who people are though, its fairly easy to figure out with context but can be annoying.
bandai removed cloud saves for some ungodly reason crashes often on scene transitions or loading critical story areas which can cause huge loss of progress and in not so rare cases just delete the entire save itself just emulate the games on PCSX2 rather than playing this water downed mess of a port
I grew up with this game series. It will always hold a special place in my heart.
i Played this and the rest of the dot hack series when it originally came out, Playing back through this was a real hit of nostalgia. Has it aged well? Lets be honest its very of its time judging it by mordern standards isnt kind ... so no it hasent, But it remains a fun experience with some grindy BS old school JRPG stuff if you want to 100% it. but the voice acting and story remain a pretty great experience as i said i got hit with a wave of nostalgia and with the news a new game is coming... well i wanted to play it through again and i am having a great time regardless. " like a Frenzied horse that is driven, an unseen wind of plague shreiks across the border, Pandemonium wailing and the stench of carnage fills the air, there is no place to run No hope of escape, those who are mourned will never return the hands of time cannot be turned back" - Fidchell -
