Griftlands is a deck-building roguelite where you negotiate, fight, steal or otherwise persuade others to get your way. Every decision is important, be it the jobs you take, the friends you make, or the cards you collect.

设置声望7的意义何在?缺乏平衡和策略深度的长盘纯粹是一种折磨,更别提打斗模式更长的流程和更少的选择 科雷给这游戏生下来就不管了= =
Runs are long for a roguelite type game. Some good mechanics, but it should be easier to remove cards given how many you add.

非常有特色的肉鸽卡牌游戏,根据你的决定可以触发不同的剧情,boss和结局,可探索性很强,但是很可惜的是只有三个官方剧本,没有继续更新真是太可惜了,残念
Woaaah been playing this since like 2019 or 2020 (can't remember when it released) but just NOW gotten to write a review! I'll keep it simple, if you like card batttlers this is a must. I love how you have basically two game modes: One is the negotiating/convincing part where you "fight" against another person using arguments and wit, which is basically like a card battler but cool way of framing it fo sho AND the other one is the actual battles that are badass af. I love how alive the world feels, for example, if you randomly save someone's life and then, say, you have an argument in a bar and they are around they will vouch for you and help you in the negotiating part of things. Its just really cool how all characters are interconnected to the point that if you kill someone, then someone that you don't even know yet might hate you cause they know you killed their friend and things like that. The world definitely feels alive and so do its people! 99/10 recommended for the card battler enthusiasts like myself :P 🔥😎🔥
With a heavy heart, I don't recommend this game to most people as it is just too deep and involved
I love Klei Entertainment and have been wanting this game since EA. When it came to humble choice I was overjoyed and started playing straight away. After one play through, though, I can tell it isn't for me. The reason being is the depth of the game. For a lot of people, this is obviously a good thing, but for average gamers, this means needing to invest a hell of a lot of time learning the ins and outs of the game to have a good shot of winning or even really theory crafting/deckbuilding in fun ways. Never mind the achievements which are all related to doing really difficult tasks, not game completion. If you're an average gamer like me who likes deckbuilding when it's fast and intuitive(Slay the spire/Balatro) but are scared off by games that have huge learning curves and time investment demands (Europa universalist, crusader kings, total war) then probably best to avoid this game. If you want something you can really sink your teeth into for the next few weeks and you love complex deckbuilding this is undoubtedly the game for you
bit of a shame that it didn't get much attention or dev time post-release, but it's still pretty much the best deckbuilder i've ever played (playtime longer than what Steam shows) yes, i think it's better than Slay the Spire, go fight me in the comments
5-hour roguelite runs ... yikes! Griftlands presents compelling choices between negotiations and battles intertwined seamlessly with character relationships and narrative development. Or so it seems, at first... For some inexplicable reason, this beautiful game has been created as a roguelite, in this case ruining the depth inherent to the game systems. I began playing the game enthralled by the potential depth of choices relevant to my character's progression, but soon realized that my build was best suited to just killing every opponent. I won my first run, but at what cost? The narrative had lost its meaning and the run became easy to win when the narrative choices no longer mattered. Griftlands attempts to reconcile the roguelite with a new form of storytelling but ultimately fails the balancing act.
God I wish more people played this game. It might have slightly worse card play than the more high profile deck-builders out there right now, but it more than makes up for it with how nearly every single other aspect of the game is better. From the art and music, to the world building and writing, it's just so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good. Please play it.
Huzzah, a cool concept which actually delivers! As a roguelike deckbuilder this is solid enough in itself; not far behind the likes of Roguebook and Slay the Spire. I'm not sure it all works - I could never figure out the value of Rook's preparation mechanic, for instance - but it has that classic deckbuilder element of letting you feel like you've completely broken the game. Beyond that, though, there's better writing and worldbuilding than you'll find in most visual novels. It's often funny, and even a little touching, and exhibits plenty of imagination - something all too often lacking in video game narratives and worlds these days. Well worth it for fans of either deckbuilders or VNs - and a true gem for someone like me who loves both.
After 125 hours of game play, I would recommend this game. It is definitely re-playable. Each character has their own unique plot line, negotiation strategy and battle strategy. There is a daily challenge and a brawl mode if you don't care about exploring the story. Each story is complex without a clear "right" or "wrong" path. The art style and world building are unique. I even got 100% of the achievements for fun.
