Niestety, nie mogę polecić tego tytułu. W teorii wszystko powinno grać: RTS zrobiony przez weteranów gatunku - Petroglyph (m.in. W przeciwnym wypadku lepiej wrócić do starszych RTSów, nawet samego Petroglyph. Szkoda.
While the game was hailed as a "return of the RTS genre", it proved to be a fairly short one. The limited campaign for the factions, nearly nonexistent multiplayer "scene", and $30 price tag, it was sad to see the potential return of RTS games so short lived. If you know someone and buy on a deep discount, there's enjoyment to be had. I played a large part of this offline, so don't take my recorded 2.5 hours of play as my complete experience. While there was some truth in the "Starcraft-like" nature of the title, it was probably exactly that in which the game tried to play off of. Combined with simplified mechanics, Grey Goo didn't appear to have anything for hardcore RTS fans - which turned out to be true in the long run. The soundtrack is interesting, so at least that is something to remember the game by (if you don't know anyone who is willing to play).
Everything with the game itself is fine, it runs nicely and plays without stutter. But why am I telling you this? Because I give it a thumbs up, because it isnt bad, but it isnt exactly well ether. If there was an "in the middle" thumb on steam, Grey Goo would be the perfect game, as it feels like another semi-experimental Petroglyph RTS, with 3 factions, one high tech, one rugged and down to earth, and one exotic and strange. Add in the 4th race, that is feeling like it is 50% done, and you are all set for a not so much standard but over all rather tame RTS. Some things could be better, and I the name sake, the "Grey Goo" are all but lackluster in their play, still the game has some nicew twists on the typicall RTS formular, with the humans confined to a single base with a power grid, the Beta having field posts with different amount of nodes and the Goo just using themselves for a base. The Campaign is decent, but predicatble, so dont wait for a big Blockbuster. After all, it is nother a bad nor a good game, it is just average RTS.
If you liked command and conquer and enjoy a good rts but need a break from starcraft 2, this is the game for you. I really like the campaign. def the best rts ive played outside of sc2. Id recommend it if you are looking for a newer, good rts.
A OKE toffe game
I bought this because I saw ultraman but I only got grey goo.. disappointed 10/10
