P?romsiing but unbalanced and therefore not ready to release.
Brilliant game so far. It obviously takes a lot of inspiration from the Bazaar which is absolutely fine for me as someone who liked the Bazaar but didn't like the dev team's choices. The main USP of the game is that it is a deck builder where your cards are drawn and played automatically. I was a bit skeptical of this at first but it works really well. The energy system that they have created is unique and there are lots of options to refine your draw order. It has some work to do with the events as they are quite repetitive, but that is the only minor negative. The theme and art style is fun and well executed. Music and SFX are great too. Would be a good £15 game so for less than half that it is a steal.

really addictive game. If you're into The Bazaar I can highly recommend!
Grail is similar to The Bazaar but it does enough different to make it distinct and interesting. Decks are not limited by size, they require more a more active build to mitigate energy costs, and are subject to some RNG when played. In turn, the game is a slightly less deep, making it a little easier in execution and a bit more repetitive from run to run. These are not necessarily criticisms, just evaluations of the game's current state. What sets it apart from games like The Bazaar is that there are so many different, capable strategies for winning. Of course, there are very clear winning strategies, but any deck and decisions played correctly can make it to the final day. I have been surprised more than a few times when a deck I didn't think was going anywhere at first managed to do something crazy and fun by the end. In that way, this feels more like a curated and enjoyable experience than other deckbuilders and auto-battlers. It has all the right parts of both and makes it consistently fun.
Excellent auto battler and deckbuilder. The build variety is strong and the artwork is amazing. I have over a hundred hours and I'm still finding new builds. Cannot recommend enough
scratches similar itches to the bazaar and will make you joyous and rage out in all the same ways, but with cute animal people and less history of nfts
art is cute and funny, interesting concept. a lot of options and strategies to try.
I've only been playing this for a short while and I can already tell that this one is going to steal a lot of my time. If you like deckbuilders and autobattlers, then Grail has managed to blend these together in a way I've not seen before.
Really enjoy this take on deck builders where you build it before just setting it loose and seeing how it gets on. I do wish that the decks had a little longer to get going before fatigue sets in, a lot of scaling strategies feel kind of terrible as just as they are getting started, fatigue kills one of you, but otherwise I've had a great experience.
A lot of fun; runs are short enough that you can get a satisfying run in between other activities, and there's enough meta-progression and unlockables (and seeecrets) that it feels rewarding to keep playing.
