About
Whether you are drawn to the lands of Gloomhaven by the call of adventure or an avid desire for the glimmer of gold in the dark, your fate will surely be the same…
Lead your band of mercenaries through this unforgiving place, where every choice is crucial. Carve your way through terrifying dungeons, dreadful forests and dark caves filled with horrific monsters to reap your rewards… or die trying.
Sell your sword to anyone who can afford it, may they be city officials or corrupt cultists. You are paid to get results and not ask questions. Where will you draw the line?
Gloomhaven is a tactical RPG and a digital adaptation of the ultimate strategy board game by Isaac Childres (the highest-rated board game of all time on ). Set in a unique medieval dark fantasy universe, Gloomhaven rewards strategic planning and problem solving. Face this dark world alone or in online co-op for up to 4 players!
Explore the world in a band of 2 to 4 mercenaries. Each of the 17 unique characters comes with their own skills and more than 1,000 different abilities to master! Prepare your deck of ability cards before setting out to explore the dark caves and dreadful forest of Gloomhaven through quests and events.
Once inside a dungeon, engage in tactical turn-based combat by selecting two cards for each mercenary on every turn. You can only use the top half of one and the bottom half of another, so plan accordingly!
Move up your hired blades on the hex grid terrain to take advantage of the dungeon’s environment. Set up deadly combos and unleash devastating powers but be wary of the cost. Cards are a resource as scarce and crucial as your life points, so watch out for exhaustion. Every choice has life or death consequences.
Hone your abilities during the game with enhancements and perks, while your power increases with level ups and new equipment. You need every advantage you can to survive here. So, gear up your band of mercenaries, chase powerful artifacts, buy the favor of the Great Oak, and never let your guard down.
Adapted from the original Gloomhaven Board Game, this branching campaign of 95 story missions pits your greed against your morality. Many powerful opponents are vying for control over the city of Gloomhaven while others are looking for ancient crypts and forgotten artefacts. You could always side with the inhabitants, but it may not pay well…
Whatever your path may be, it will be paved with difficult choices.
Created in collaboration with the community during the early access, the Guildmaster adventure has more than 160 digital exclusive missions that allow you to experience another facet of Gloomhaven with new storylines, quests, map and NPCs.
Lead your guild of mercenaries in a region overrun by unspeakable things, far worse than simple bandits.
Choose the best combination of mercenaries for each fight and follow their character stories in this deadly new territory.

игра топ! для гиков. Единственный минус - иногда вылетает и не разрешает ходит на персонаже. Втрое фиксится, а с первым просто нужно смириться(
I have about 25 hours of solo steam deck play under my belt at the moment, as well as about 10 hours last year on Epic. It’s a recommend, even on the deck. But read the cons, for sure. Pros: 1) It plays surprisingly well with controller and on a deck screen. The battlefields are tight enough that being zoomed in is expected. The controls are by no means intuitive, but they also baked in “hold A” for the important triggers, so I haven’t run into misclicks at all. 2) Once you get it down, the strategy and tactics are both a high-concept mental workout. Juggling what abilities to exhaust and when, learning when to pivot actions based on enemy layout, struggling and succeeding to get across the finish line…when it clicks, wow do you feel like you earned your keep. 3) The class progression and perk is really interesting. The perk system in particular is a nice mixup from dice based systems. Neutral: - The retirement system. Personally, I really like the idea of playing a character to a quest-based retirement, then rolling a new one. Love the buildup, and love the mixup. But abandoning a well-loved character is hard, and it might not be for you. -I would never play this multiplayer. On top of the many bugs folks report, the differences in class resilience has, for every mission I’ve played, meant a character or two is sitting out for several turns each mission. That’s a great design from a strategic standpoint, but less so from an immersive game group standpoint. My group wouldn’t enjoy this. But if you have a group that likes to table talk and work through problems together, it’ll likely click for you… assuming you don’t run into bugs. Cons: a) The first mission in this game is a right of passage. You will lose. You will likely lose multiple times. You will understand the mechanics and you will lose. It’s just that stupidly hard and is way more RNG determinate given that you’re rolling all starter decks. Don’t hesitate to lose, farm some gold, get a potion, learn the ropes, and try again. Arguably the worst designed first mission ever though. b) The stories are lackluster and difficult to follow. It’s very much a make your own adventure type system, which is fine. But it doesn’t even really give you a good foundation to work from. c) The mechanics are exhausting. This isn’t a light game; it’s not even a hard game. It’s a brutal game that tests your strategic abilities. Don’t pick this up if you aren’t in the mood for a mental workout. d) Having played a few Jaws of the Lion missions and several characters, I feel like it is an essential expansion. They help smooth new players into the game in a way the original few characters did not for me. It’s why I bought the game on Steam, the bundle was the right price (I got the game on Epic for free). That’s not a great place to be for the OG game. Not a dealbreaker, but I wouldn’t grab the vanilla on its own.

Every market we collect.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 4 → 3.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is the game that really cemented to myself that card/deck based games are not for me. Incredibly faithful to the board game, minus the setup. Runs great on Steam deck. I've given it multiple tries, installing it and playing a few missions, getting bored and frustrated and uninstalling. Repeat, thinking I just didn't give it enough of a chance. I Just found the difficulty annoying and not fun, even on easy. It could be that I am not playing it right, but every scenario seems more like a puzzle with limited approach to victory. Also, there is an implicit timer to each run with the way "burning" cards counts as "stamina," which make you rush to finish the mission. Not to mention that its incredibly slow to play, not game performance, just playing it is incredibly slow specially if you run a full party of 4 solo. If you want a 1 to 1 version of the board game, the this is a great translation, but as a videogame it made me realize how I actually don't like deck based gameplay. There is the Guildmaster mode which has an easier introduction to the game than the Campaign and a new Friendly difficulty setting that further eases things. Essentially, if you can swallow your pride and turn difficulty down then it becomes enjoyable. you can always tweak difficulty up once your used to it.

Fun board game that translate well into the video game space
Difficult 1st level but otherwise really fun!
im gloomin in ur haven
Game good. Bought the board game and never played it much. This game does the stuff for you
One of the best games (in real life), BUT: i would only recommend it, if u know and like the boardgame (or frosthaven). The mechanics are a bit much to learn for new players. But if you master all the cool stuff, its a ton of fun!
