About
Inspired by games such as: Ready or Not, Ground Branch, CoD: Modern Warfare and Insurgency: Sandstorm. GERONIMO is a highly realistic, tactical and immersive CQB shooter that has been built from the ground up for Virtual Reality. Play Solo, or with your friends and carry out your operations through our missions, some even inspired by real world raids.
Whether deploying solo or with a full 6-player squad, Geronimo brings unforgiving tactical shooter gameplay into VR, where careful movement, clear communication, and calculated teamwork are essential. Train with your team in dedicated practice environments, including shooting ranges with dynamic targets and customizable killhouses built for refining your tactics before the real mission begins.
In GERONIMO, your equipment is built around how you want to operate. Shape your operator’s look, choose your clothing and armor, then fine-tune your weapons and rig with a high level of control. Position pouches where they make sense, configure your vest for the role you’re playing, and set up each weapon platform with the attachments and layout that fit your style.
Every choice has a practical impact once you’re in VR. A heavier setup can slow you down and make long engagements more demanding. Poor optic placement can make target acquisition harder. A full-length rifle may give you reach in open spaces, but become awkward when clearing tight rooms. Your loadout is not just cosmetic — it defines how you move, fight, and survive.
Every weapon is built with a focus on physical interaction, mechanical detail, and believable handling in VR. Firearms are not treated as simple props — they are systems you manipulate by hand, with actions such as manual bolt locking, magazine changes, charging, and slide operation designed to feel deliberate and responsive.
A high level of animation and interaction work supports each weapon platform, from carefully authored hand poses to moving parts that behave as expected during operation. Slides cycle with accurate barrel movement, controls are placed and handled with intention, and small details are modeled so that using a weapon feels tactile rather than abstract. The result is a gunplay system where precision, familiarity, and muscle memory matter.
Sharpen your skills outside of live missions with dedicated IPSC-style courses and a range of killhouse options built for practice, speed, and friendly competition. Run timed shooting challenges to test accuracy under pressure, compare routes with teammates, and refine the fundamentals that matter most in VR: target acquisition, weapon handling, movement, and control.
Killhouses offer a more tactical way to train, with layouts suited for room clearing, angles, communication, and close-quarters decision-making. Whether you are warming up before an operation, drilling with your squad, or competing for the fastest clean run, Geronimo gives players flexible training spaces where improvement is measurable and rivalry stays friendly.

Cool concept def. inspired by Ground Branch but need some serious work for full release. *('Epic' graphics settings)* Pros: Great customization of firearms -I love to see the assortment of licensed(?) attachments such as Unity FAST risers and GBRS and Wilcox mounts/risers, not to mention the suppressors and other firearms Adept plate carriers/chestrig modification -Vast assortment of placards and mounting options for magazines and other primary/secondary/tertiary equipment UI -User interface is intuitive but needs some work to feel straightforward -Much of UI feels somewhat 'placeholder' Weapon handling/functionality -Weapon handling/functionality is unparalleled in VR FPS games of this sort (until H3VR2) -No other game has successfully implemented bolt-hold-open and bolt-catch features so intuitively and with such precision Neutral: -I love the use of licensed brands, such as EOTech, GBRS, H&K, KAC, Colt, Daniel Defense, Wilcox, Unity, Team Wendy, Geissele, Ferro Concepts, Crye, FOG, among others, but I feel as though these monikers were used without proper vetting. I'd hate for the developers to spend time settling legal disputes rather than working on the game they toil over. Cons: Empty maps: -Maps such as House (can't remember the name) are empty, same with the cargo ship map- --Maps such as these (among others) feel lifeless, and are extremely clunky to move through (i.e: run towards a wall or barrier and you stop in place, impeding operational tempo) AI: -AI is either braindead (for lack of a better term) or terminator: You could sneak up on AI w/o suppressor and move through with ease, or get 'flicked' by an AK from 50+ meters, no middle ground -AI voicelines become repetitive, only about 10-15 voicelines for passive/aggressive modes -AI seems to have no trouble moving through map environment, unlike your character General feel: -aforementioned clunkiness is a big con for Geronimo. Magazine/bolt catch features might be intuitive, but the game lacks a controller input rebind function, inhibiting muscle memory with other shooter games, such as Pavlov VR. -Moving through environments feels great at first, but when you encounter CQB environments your player will stop dead in their tracks running into any stationary object, including walls. -Firearm customization is robust, but currently lacks a feature to rotate the weapon horizontally, so if you mount a rail and a M600V flashlight on the 3 o'clock rail, you're moving by feel as to where the flashlight is positioned -Further, the game lacks a feature to cull dropped attachments, which can hinder performance on some computers. Map collisions -On nearly every map, I'd find myself rounding a corner only to have my primary weapon fall from my hands and glitch through the floor, leaving me without a primary for the rest of the mission. I understand the reality of keeping control of your weapon system in a dynamic environment, but to this degree seems to be a hinderance for more casual players. Fighting the currently bipolar AI with just a handgun seems to be a suicide mission, especially with the clunkiness of the controls. -Further, occasionally the magazine of my primary/secondary would be feet away from my weapon, prohibiting me from inserting a fresh mag, even when attempting to insert a magazine from my belt/rig, leaving me without a primary/secondary weapon system Graphics/optimization -Graphics leave much to be desired, player shadows are clear and crisp, but maps themselves land on extremes: too bright or too dark -Optimization needs work: even on the rig I'm playing on, I feel FPS dips when I'm entering buildings with multiple enemies Overall: -Geronimo has tons of potential, and scratches that itch for Ground Branch/Tarkov-like firearm/kit customization paired with realistic tactical gameplay. But if you're looking for a game like this, I'd hold off until further updates.

The best vr shooter game ever
THIS IS THE BEST VR GAME I HAVE EVER PLAYED, its realistic it has dozens of parts to choose from to make your gun to your heart content. you can customize everything and it has awsome maps that are huge and small. I really like the boat map ( it doesn't lag my meta quest 3) and is cqb and though there are some bugs i can understand that because this is still in early access and i cant wait for more updates
bello
pretty good u can shoot terrorists so yep
this game is 1000 out of 10. W
this game look insane but it is very but very demanding soo dont buy this game if your pc is "okay"
Игра отличная, надеюсь будут часто обновлять. Звуки выстрелов как в реальной жизни , система перезарядки точно также , противники сложные, как и сами миссии. В целом игра напоминает Ready or not. Ещё хотелось бы чтобы добавили улучшенную физику , потому что когда я добиваю лежачего террориста , то он подпрыгивает от моей пули , также отверстие куда попала пуля выглядит плохо
this game has one issue (that may be addressed soon) that takes away points. the gun sits almost vertically on the chest so the stock is shoved in your face. other than that, I have no notes.
so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good
