About
The classic Gauntlet 4-player co-op action gameplay returns in a completely new experience! Play as one of four distinct heroes in an intense monster filled dungeon brawler with a combination of both uniquely built and randomly generated levels to explore. Battle the endless hordes of foes as you and your friends fight for treasure and glory via both local and online co-op multiplayer. Invade the Darkness!
Classic dungeon crawling action is melded with innovative new features for the ultimate Gauntlet challenge.
Explore on your own if you dare or play with friends in 4-player same-screen and online co-op. Your friends can become foes as you compete to see who can claim the most kills and the most gold.
Gauntlet’s four classic characters: Warrior, Valkyrie, Elf, and Wizard return but with more distinctive play styles and their own unique skills.
Players can scour the dungeons for gold and loot to unlock mystical Relics that grant the holder deadly new abilities. But beware – if used incorrectly they can be detrimental to your party’s health!
Fiendish traps, monstrous hordes, epic bosses and even your own friends will cause you to die in confounding and extraordinary ways.

"Fans of the classic 80s game have nothing to worry about." - PrimaGames
"This classic quarter-muncher consumed a lot of my own money during summers as a kid, so it's nice to see the fantasy gameplay live on this latest incarnation." - Fortune
"With its simple, streamlined controls and the compatibility with SteamOS, 'Gauntlet' is clearly nostalgic for the living room-centric gaming of the early 90s. And it succeeds." - Tom's Guide

Reviews
Attack angles are garbage, playing a melee character is suicide unless you only attack with the I-frame abilities to get you out afterwards, throwing potions doesn't go where you aim, you just have to predict how far it will go and try and land it. They constantly put food next to gold jars that you have to hit to loot, causing you to hit food.
i'm just an artist and a lover of old school titles. This remake looks good plays good and is worth of more player participation. I only wish Karnov or Yie Ar Kung-Fu could be remade like Gauntlet.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Repeatative. There multiple no win scenarios. Annoying isometric fixed view. Levels are long and you can only save progress at the end of a level. Died several times near the end of a level. Got tired of replaying the whole level over and over just to get to the last part. Wasn't expecting much from a 1980's remake. I was still disappointed.
Pretty awesome co-op dungeon crawler! Especially awesome since you only need one copy of the game to play with friends via steam remote play! I've been a long time fan of the gauntlet series and while the campaign is short this time around, there's still a lot of fun to be had here!
抢钱模拟器 抢我钱的真是初生!!!!!!
Its fun
Challenging combat arenas and each character plays pretty uniquely by default. (Especially the Wizard, who just straight up uses a lite version of Magicka's spell casting system.) A surprising amount of meaningful customisation can be unlocked too for different attacks and abilities. The combat plays way more like modern Diablo than classic Gauntlet honestly, but that's probably for the best. It's a very good coop game but I just wish obtaining gold wasn't character specific since everyone has to be a different character at all times.
They tried to add microtransactions.
Its a pretty interesting game. At first i think it was a boring game but then i started to have more fun. You have a few mechanics to learn and a few upgrades to get, so yes there is grinding but its not super grindy
Fun to play with friends
