About
Take part in the historic beach landings at Gallipoli and fight for survival on unforgiving shores and sun-scorched deserts!
After the muddy trenches of Verdun, the snowy plains of Tannenberg, and the imposing Alps of Isonzo, Gallipoli brings you the deepest dive into the Ottoman Fronts of World War 1 through grounded, yet accessible battles.

Gallipoli puts you in the shoes of a regular soldier of the British and Ottoman Empires. This is a hardcore, one-shot-one-kill PVP environment that demands teamwork in intense objective-based battles.

Fight on varied yet unforgiving battlefields in the infamous four-year campaign across the Ottoman fronts. Land on the beaches of Anzac Cove at dawn to seize the Dardanelles, attack the fort at Cape Helles aboard the SS River Clyde, or advance through the streets of Kut Al Amara to push back the British forces in Lower Mesopotamia.

Work together as a squad to gain an edge over your opponents in 25v25 PVP combat. Pick from 10 different specialized classes, each with an essential historical role on the battlefield. Take the lead as an Officer, lay down suppressive fire as a Heavy Machine Gunner or Sniper, and keep your squad in the fight as a Stretcher Bearer!
Weighty weapon handling and methodical reloads keep the engagements grounded, affected by your mental state and familiarity with each weapon. Explore the authentic arsenals of the British and Ottoman Empires, featuring over 50 highly detailed weapon and equipment options, and feel each weapon’s historical characteristics.

Everything that Isonzo does bad, Gallipoli does worse. Aside from the game being a technical nightmare, the voice acting is so comically bad (and done by a single actor, apparently) that it could have been a poorly dubbed anime. Enemies will sometimes not render, or will randomly disappear, damage model has no consistency, shots will sometimes not register, death screen will fail to report what killed you etc. etc. The gameplay also makes little sense. For example, if attackers receive a foothold, they immediately get infinite reinforcements even if they had none left, but defenders get limited "momentum" (also curious how someone convinced the team to call reinforcements "momentum"). And mortar controls are inverted for some reason. Scouting was also executed ridiculously; you can get a kill with a rifle without even seeing the target. The HUD is so crowded that it stops being useful so many times, as symbols will block your sight, making you unable to see anything where you aim. The trailers look great indeed, but this is after all a 25 vs 25 shooter that feels like a little more than a historical reenactment event and plays nothing at all like it looks on trailers. I wonder how one manages to make the same game over and over throughout a decade and manage to make it worse each time. The problem is probably related to the series trying to balance between tactical and arcade shooter, but nothing is in between these two; they should make up their minds already. As for the technical issues and the general lack of love this game apparently received, I am completely lost. It is interesting at the beginning but rapidly gets quite repetitive and boring.

Solid well-made bolt-action rifle shooter game. Absolutely love the look and feel, the sounds are awesome. Running with a knife holding F is pure fun. Pretty balanced at this stage. They do experiment with new mechanics so this is not just an asset swap. I would miss my ice axe I left at Insonzo and stunning Italian mountains. Faced a wierd bug with strangers talking from my monitor while I play in my headphones. =D
So far the most interesting to play class is the sniper. The other kits are painfully slow, both in movement and in bolt speed. The smaller team sizes also detract from the feeling of that mass warfare from past titles. Sniper at least allows this to be negated by sitting back and taking shots. Pushing the objective is painful and mainly just due to the slower mechanics. The buffs from each class are not enough to make playing a rifle based class worth it. They seem to have gone for a more squad focused approach, however the player base does not play the game like that, or there are not enough mechanics to help produce this effect. There should be less classes with more pronounced effects.
0 ammo crates on hq and objectives low ammo count for classes even tho your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ character has bandalier or sometimes a entire belt of ammo clips on their character but those 100+ rounds he has on character model are just 15 to 30 rounds as best which is far below average ammo capacity for a soldier of this day and age. missing basic functions like this but already selling skins nice
I cannot recommend this game after what happened to me. I bought Gallipoli roughly two weeks ago after a friend's recommendation. I launched the game only around four times in total, and two of those sessions ended with the game crashing. Then I didn't even play the game for about a week. When I came back, I discovered that I had received a Game Ban on Steam. I have never used cheats, exploits, modifications, or any software intended to gain an unfair advantage in this game. My Steam account is approximately 15 years old, and now I have a Game Ban displayed on my profile from a game I barely even had the chance to play. What makes this situation even more frustrating is the lack of support. I contacted BlackMill Games by email asking them to explain the reason for the ban and manually review my case. No response. I then contacted the official Discord support and was simply told that they do not handle in-game bans there and that I should email support — which I had already done. So at the moment I am stuck with a Game Ban on my 15-year-old Steam account, with no explanation of what I supposedly did, no response to my email, and no meaningful way to have the situation reviewed. If I actually violated a rule, then tell me what happened. If the anti-cheat detected something, review the logs. I am not asking for special treatment. I am asking for someone to actually look at the case and explain why I was banned. Until BlackMill Games reviews this situation and provides an explanation, I simply cannot recommend Gallipoli. I will update this review if/when support responds and the case is properly investigated.
