This game has such a steep learning curve that it takes many people hours upon hours to complete easy mode, myself included. I like a challenge, especially in an age where video games have become much easier. This game is easy to run on a computer, has fun gameplay and mechanics, good graphics, and great content. The replayability is extremely good as well. I highly recommend, 10/10.

FTL to jedna z tych gier, które wyglądają niepozornie, a potem nagle orientujesz się, że minęły trzy godziny, statek płonie, połowa załogi nie żyje, a Ty… nadal chcesz spróbować jeszcze raz. To nie jest zwykły roguelike. To symulator desperackiej ucieczki przez galaktykę, w którym każda decyzja może być tą ostatnią. Największą siłą FTL jest to, że każda rozgrywka to inna historia. Raz jesteś bohaterem Federacji, który cudem przetrwał atak piratów. Innym razem giniesz, bo otworzyłeś złe drzwi i wyssało Ci połowę statku w próżnię. Gra nie udaje, że jest fair — i właśnie dlatego jest tak fascynująca. System walki to małe arcydzieło. Nie ma tu bezmyślnego klikania — jest zimna, kosmiczna taktyka. Wyłączasz wrogowi tlen, niszczysz mu silniki, teleportujesz abordażystów, gasisz pożary, modlisz się, żeby tarcze wytrzymały jeszcze jedną salwę. Każdy system, każdy punkt energii, każdy członek załogi ma znaczenie. Załoga to osobna historia. Każdy człowiek (albo kosmita) to mały trybik, który może uratować Ci życie. Ktoś jest świetnym pilotem, ktoś innym mistrzem napraw, a ktoś… po prostu umiera pierwszy, bo przypadkiem stał w pokoju, który właśnie stanął w płomieniach. I mimo pikselowej grafiki naprawdę czujesz do nich przywiązanie. FTL nagradza kreatywność, cierpliwość i zimną kalkulację. Ale przede wszystkim nagradza odwagę podejmowania ryzyka. Bo czasem trzeba wejść w nieznany sygnał distress, czasem trzeba zaryzykować teleport, czasem trzeba poświęcić część statku, żeby ocalić resztę. To gra, która nie prowadzi za rękę. To gra, która mówi: „Przetrwaj, jeśli potrafisz”. I właśnie dlatego tak bardzo się podoba — bo każde zwycięstwo jest w 100% Twoje.
