Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

About
Frostpunk 2 elevates the city-survival genre to a new level. Take the role of a Steward and lead your city through a cascade of calamities taking place in a postapocalyptic, snowy setting. Build large city districts with their string of endless needs and demands. Navigate through conflicting interests of factions that populate your metropolis. As the needs of the city grow and factional power at its core rises, only you can steer the society towards an uncertain future.

The world is overtaken by an ever present winter, which makes expansion of the city the only way for the survival of mankind. In order to grow, the metropolis needs resources like coal and oil, just like its citizens require food and warmth. In Frostpunk 2, it's your job to tackle this never ending circle of supply and demand.

The number of your citizens steadily grows, making the task of governing them and satisfying their demands all the more challenging. As the Steward you will have to maneuver carefully across the interests of many groups inhabiting the city.

People of your city want to have a voice in how you run things. Each faction has its own ideology and ideas for the future, yet they also have one thing in common - insatiable thirst for power. Choose your allies in the Council Hall wisely.

Make tough life-and-death decisions as you allocate heat across your city, supported by new research topics and heat-oriented laws. Choose districts that need the most warmth with the help of the Heat Management system with a detailed temperature overlay.

The story of Frostpunk 2 introduces a multi-chapter saga set in the frozen wastes. Spanning across the life of the Steward this campaign lets you feel the burden of leadership as you take the responsibility for thousands of lives. At the same time, the sandbox mode called Utopia Builder with infinite play time leaves you room for boundless social and infrastructural experiments.

Frostpunk 2 comes with a comprehensive and versatile modding tool. FrostKit will let you create your own maps, models, and scenarios inside the game. Now, only your imagination can limit the destination your city is heading to!

This should've been a completely new game or at least a spin-off. Not the sequel. In the first game you could screw up but you would learn from your mistakes. Not in this game.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I really wanted to like this game, but the UI and the gamplay system is too annyoing for me. It's hard for me to even finish the prologue because if the gameplay has changed so much from Frostpunk 1, It's less intuitive, more combersome to get quests done and removed from the people that you're trying to save by having it looking at it as a city building sim.
Good enough, not as good as the first, worth it on sale though.
I really like FP2 a lot but any game without a "Start Paused" option in the menu is an auto-fail. Sorry, I don't make the rules (I do, in fact, make the rules).
EDIT: Also we should be able to name our cities like in FP1.
UPDATE: Hurr im dum af, lol...
Overly complicated, desperately unforgiving. The easiest difficulty doesn't even allow you to pass the prologue without forcing you to complete "optional" directives. "Stockpile 40k food". *Literally has food being made on all available spots, all working double shifts.* And it forces you to lose weeks before the deadline because I didn't build a food spot on the seals, which was an optional directive. No thanks. I'd have more fun watching paint dry.
I absolutely loved Frostpunk 1, but I really do not like Frostpunk 2. The building system where it just feels like you are setting down blobs and you cant actually build a city feels really awful. This feels like when SimCity made their last game where the ruined the core mechanic of building a city. If you want a real city building with the extra layer of politics buy Frostpunk 1, if you want whatever this is check it out, but be ready to refund it.
