Just got 100 hours, about 8 of those have been in the campaign. It is a difficult game to get into, but it's not the fault of the game at all. The tutorials they provide are excellent, but there are a lot of them. And there have to be, because the game just has that much depth. And I've seen comments that called it "unnecessarily complex" which had me concerned when I bought it. But that's not true, all of it is necessary for the game to work the way that it does. If you like losing yourself in a build and optimizing every part of it, this game is for you. Of those 100 hours I've spent I'd say over 80 hours in the designer.
The controls and UI just aren’t great. It feels like the game is trying way too hard to reinvent the wheel, even though other similar games do the same thing with fewer buttons. It’s been in development for about five years, but the UI still looks like a quick placeholder that was never properly finished.

don't buy this game if you value your free time. would recommend to people with "i wanna conquer the world disorder" don't buy this game if you want friends would recommend to people who love the feeling of making something complicated work don't buy this game if you never do tutorials (they are required) would recommend to people whermst always say but what if they introduced "realistic mechanic" to game? help! :)
great vehicle building game. endless replayability, deep mechanics, requires real critical thinking unlike some other games out on steam. gets el wee wee seal of approval
While I'm not smart or patient enough to play this game it's honestly a great game! Props to all of you autists that can actually play the game!
So after playing for around +200 hours (different account) I have come to the conclusion You start out thinking your terrible Then you start understanding basics and you beat the campaign on easy and you think your a god Then you try the hardest campy you realise your a complete failure but generally if you have autism this game is going to make you want to marry it Would recommend 11/10 Also join the discord for completely unhelpful advice your just gonna get  on anything you do stupid
Figuring out the control scheme and how the game works was an absolute f%cking nightmare. However, once it starts to click, you will find it's a very deep game with an insane amount of creative potential.
Amazing game spent 50 hours trying to make a ship yet it still sucks and cant even float 10/10 would recomend
I am nowhere near of fully understanding all mechanics but the discoveries i made were so much fun. There are ancient online posts, in game tutorials and the sweetest dc community i've seen for any game to help you out. Also a quick front to all negative reviews that criticize the learning curve after 1-3hours of gametime: You are in your own responsiblity to inform yourself about the game. It is stated everywhere that it can get complicated. If you whine about the complexity you are not submitting a constructive review, you're just showing that you buy before you look. Don't downgrade the ratings of really good games because of your human error.
its very confusing and a tutorial i followed didn't even work. It's UI is VERY VERY ugly and isn't self explanatory at all (at least when i last played). IMO this kind of game requires the use of a online tutorial unless you want to guess till something positive happens with your build lol. I do think this game is probably tons of fun but personally my first time loading up the game was a nightmare and it simply didn't leave a good impression. In short: game is probably super fun, but likely requires a good few hours to put together your first vehicle ect, and UI is HORRID.
