Rival mercenaries, bandits, monstrous beasts and even hideous creatures infest the Vale of Vahrin, ready and waiting for their bounties to be claimed.

Aid the survivors in their personal tales of grief, love and even humour, as they fight back against the overwhelming odds facing Vahrin.
Traverse a world steeped in beauty and mystery, from overgrown city streets to magical caverns and murky bogs, each hand-crafted to test your resolve.
Scour every corner; leaving no stone unturned in your quest to discover hidden treasures, unravel lost mysteries, and claim the spoils of Vahrin for your own.

The city of Vahrin found itself overwhelmed by a swarm of the grotesque, insect-like creatures known as khraiax.
In response, many of the Free Cities, united under the banner of the Combined Order, sent their armies to confront this terrible threat.
But victory was not to be theirs, for while the khraiax stood little chance against the might of the combined forces, a far greater danger rose from beneath the city’s streets.
Vahrin’s king lies dead, along with thousands of soldiers who marched to the city’s aid. Now only its most stalwart defenders remain, desperately fighting to reclaim their beloved home.

Vahrin’s Call stands as its own complete tale, yet it forms just one part of a sweeping epic narrative that spans nations and continents.
What begins as smaller, isolated struggles becomes part of a greater saga, where every character’s trial, every kingdom’s war, and every act of courage or betrayal weaves the tapestry of the unfolding story throughout the world.

...JANKY FUN ACTION RPG...
Forsaken Realms Vahrin's Call is a call back to the heydays for old school Action RPG's. It has it charm and kinda meh moments. As many games do. It doesn't outstay it welcome and send you into a tedious 40 to 100 hour adventure. Overall story is anything will blow mind or make you go wow I wasn't expecting that. Pretty straight forward but enjoyable story. Some interesting side quests in this game, some will make you go huh I don't get it but once it click ya like oh that makes sense. Graphics are fine, has nice environments and scenerys in the distance. Lots of different zones not copy and paste like some game. Some may claim not 2026 standard, but the games artistic vision is fine and done a good job on it. Music when it is playing is great, has some nice catchy toons and nice combat music, but once you have played for awhile you have pretty much heard all the tracks and sometimes when exploring no music at all so just feels kinda quiet and less engaging at times. Combat is pretty simple begin out with (And yes has some jank to it, but if you love the jank the jank will love you), but once you get some levels into weapon ya using ya unlock some passives and techniques let you change up how ya attack, Like getting deep into Bow allow you to use different type of arrows, like bleed one, poison and so on. Magic is nice to use as well, from ice, to fire and earth. As well Alteration which more healing spells. Give you fair few options to change up your playstyle. It is a classless combat system, so can be anything you want to be, but no pure mage type since have no staves, wands. Overall I have enjoyed the game, it a nice Action RPG game, with lots to explore and see. Interesting classless job system as well nice areas to explore, a fun 25 ++ hour game. And I'll give the game a 7.5 out of 10. For me was worth the price, but for some I know you'll wait for a sale.

A really fun and ambitious indie RPG that harkens back to the RPG's of the early 2000's like Fable, Gothic and Kingdoms of Amalur. If you enjoy games like that you'll definitely enjoy this! You can tell that a lot of heart and soul has been poured into this game, its a huge accomplishment from a team of only seven people. It hope it sells well and they can continue to follow their passions.
Just wanted to leave a quick review and say how much I've been enjoying this game. It definitely has similar vibes to the Fable games, which was an unexpected (and very nice) surprise. I was a bit skeptical after reading some of the early reviews, but am very glad I chose to get the game. The game loop, which mainly consists of looting everything that's not nailed down, breaking loot down to materials, and then creating/buying/upgrading weapons and armor using said materials, is a lot of fun. The quests are very entertaining and the game is just a lot of fun to play. The only real downside is that it's not very well optimized, but I'm sure that the devs can make some headway in that regard after a few patches. After taking 20-30 minutes to dial in the graphics options, I did end up getting it to run smoothly at 2K with DLSS balanced, and the game looks good overall. Anyway, great job devs with a fantastic game! I'm having a lot of fun with it. Cheers, H My rig: CyberPower PC with a 7800x3D processor, 32 GB DDR5 RAM, GeForce 4070 FE Graphics Card, and a 1.5 TB SSD Drive.
Not sure why this game is getting so much hate. It's a simple, yet fun game that has exploration, looting, mild souls-like combat. Throughout the entire game I was excited to go searching for the next gear upgrades and progress the story. The boss fights are fun without being overly difficult, however, suicidal mode which is the hardest difficulty really isn't all that difficult which is fine. Pros: Visually beautiful world Fun gear progression Pretty good weapon and spell variety Simplistic design which is good for dad gamers who want to just turn their brain off and play a game Nostalgic despite being a new game. This game heavily reminded me of playing Fable Lost Chapters back in the day. Cons: Framerate does drop occasionally although it isn't game breaking UI could be better, for example having health potion keybound to something other than the spell wheel would be nice. Spell wheel works well though otherwise. The inventory being a list rather than a grid with visuals I am not a fan of, but got used to it. Overall this game took me 25 hours to complete with 100%. So if people are mad about the price tag, well I look at all games at a dollar p/hr ratio of fun. 25 hours of enjoyment for 35 dollars was a good deal for me. Hope you enjoy the game.
boring ass trash game
Very fun and satisfying game. Writing is clever. Gameplay feels decent. Movement is a little floaty, and the UI could use a bit more polish, but it's perfectly functional. If you like the original Fable, you'll more than likely enjoy this.
This game REALLY should have gone through an EA period. I bought the game, but returned it within 35 mins, because the combat, the movement, the systems... it all just felt very "Beta" level of quality. There is surely a great game to be made from this. But as it stands, it's just NOT there. I do hope they continue to work on it and refine it. And if they do, and the controls are improved, I might purchase again.
Such a fun game, a lot of people are complaining and whining about this game and they barely played 1-2h, some even 30mins and then leave a negative review. IMO it should not be alowed to leave a review after 0.3h played… It was a while ago I had this much fun with a game, it plays great, look great, performs great, zero issues. I have zero desire to look EVERYTHING up on YouTube, I’m playing blind and enjoy it to the max, it’s easy to understand and it gives an old school wibe. Exactly what I want. I can relax and just have a good time, and for the people that says the game is short around 8h truly rush the story and ignore everything else, don’t listen to em please It’s 7 people that developed this game! 10/10
All in all I think that this is a pretty solid game. Sure, it's lacking some of the AAA polish that we've gotten used to, but most of the AAA games are trash now, so what do you want? The combat feels pretty good. There are multiple difficulty options, so you're not locked into the base difficulty that the developer thought we should play. It feels a bit like Fable and Dark Souls. There are a few options when it comes to weaponry, each weapon has it's own skills. Multiple types of magic. Every combat option has it's own leveling system, similar to Elder Scrolls and Valheim. The more you use it, the more it levels. My biggest issues: Single player The combat feels a bit slow The camera has a bit of a studder when you slightly adjust it FPS issues You get entirely too much junk from looting I would recommend this game. I might say to wait for some patches or until it's on sale if indie bugs and lack of polish are big issues for you, but I think it's a solid buy if you like this type of game. I do think $35 might be a bit steep, but it was on sale right when it came out. I feel like this "full release" feels a bit like it's still early access, but it is fun to play.
I got this game on a whim and am very happy that I did. The feel of the game is nostalgic and brings back some great memories of games from when I was younger. I really enjoy the aesthetic of the game and the mechanics aren't re-writing gaming but are solid and enjoyable. I hope the Devs are proud of their work and I can't wait to see what improvements they make on an already enjoyable experience.
