About

Once beloved by her people, Queen Rosomon has turned against her subjects, casting them into servitude in the darkness of Fahrul’s mines whilst building alliances with sinister and malevolent forces.
Gather your party in four player co-op or adventure alone through Fahrul as you risk everything to fight the tyrannical queen and bring an end to her oppressive reign.
From the creators of For The King, the much-loved RPG that blends roguelite and tabletop gameplay comes a new chapter in Fahrul’s history, designed on an updated engine bringing innovation and gameplay refinement for returning heroes and new adventurers alike.

For The King II is easy for anyone to pick up and play, but takes skill, patience, and strategic excellence to master whilst remaining infinitely replayable with a procedurally generated map that ensures no two playthroughs will ever be the same. Unique yet familiar dice roll inspired movement, encounter and combat mechanics add even more spontaneity and variety as your fortunes rise and fall on the roll of the dice.

For The King II provides a complete campaign with over 30 hours of gameplay, split into 7 separate adventures, each narratively linked. The journey is long and the path is treacherous but fear not, if your party fails you will start stronger and wiser on your next playthrough with better starting items to draft into your loadout.

Roll up, roll up! Put your skills to the ultimate test with the infinite dungeon mode - Dark Carnival. Led by the devious Ringmaster, your goal is to conquer as many floors as possible before you meet your inevitable demise. Collect carnival tickets to explore new paths, discover a host of themed rooms and spin the Wheel of Death as you try to escape your fate. How far will you make it through the Dark Carnival?

Traverse Fahrul solo or with up-to three friends in four-player co-op. As a solo player you can control all characters in your party, giving you complete ownership of the campaign map and combat strategy whilst in four-player co-op you must coordinate and negotiate with your party members. Play online multiplayer with your friends controlling your own character(s) or play offline co-op on the same PC.

Inspired by turn-based classics, For The King II adds strategic depth to much-loved combat mechanics with the new Battle Grid, where movement and position provide you and your enemies with strategic buffs and penalties. Defend the back row by equipping a mighty Tower Shield, push enemies into lethal pools of burning fire, or entangle melee troops with dark magic cast with weapons looted from vanquished foes. The choice is yours!

Fahrul is both beautiful and deadly in equal measure. On your journey you will encounter a wealth of diverse biome environments brought to life in a breathtaking art style. From lush forests, toxic swamps and lava-filled wastelands to pirate (no scratch that!) Merling-infested tropical seas, For The King II transports you deep into the wonders of Fahrul, leading you further than ever before into this stunningly-imagined land of adventure.

fun little rogue-lite with lots of different mechanics that all come together in a cute and funny package
Unfortunately I have to disagree on the "significant improvement over the first game" that some people say this game is. some things are just worse, like the fact that you can't use up your focus to get bonus movement, then use a stone hero, then move. It gets refunded. Other than that I feel like the story telling is very weak and I got attached to none of the characters, I also personally find the old style more fitting and just prettier. I like the idea of bringing pets but the way they level up is confusing and unbalanced. The game is still just unbalanced, also. You need party heal, or else you can't progress, which doesn't incentivise you to experiment and try fun characters, instead you just have to play the correct way, which is also annoying when playing with friends because instead of having fun with them you're arguing on what to do, and when one friend wants to make a poor choice to be funny, it just ruins the entire run, and while I know that's the case in a lot of games, I just think the margin of error is way too strict. That was already a problem in the first game but I hoped it would get fixed, at least a little bit Another huge problem for me is how you can go from fine to almost dead in just one bad fight where you get unlucky, the enemies deal way too much damage sometimes and everything is just luck. if you want to hit, it's luck. If you want to dodge, it's luck. If you want to find good equipment, it's luck. Sure, there is skill and tactics involved, but at the end of the day a player who got lucky will always have a better run than a good player who got unlucky, and I think that's a real problem. Decent game overall, but I don't think it's worth the price and I will not be buying any dlc. I'm hopeful for the future though ! There are some great ideas in there.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game is so fun, its a querky little fun D&D style game, especially for people not familiar with D&D or families its a great introduction. Definitely recommend to pass the time and play with friends for a fun little adventure. Really enjoying it.

You spend LITERALLY 60% of the time just waiting for animations to end, the turn to end, for it to change to the next characters action, or strange delays while the game does something in the background. Yes, I have animations at max speed, its still wastes SO MUCH TIME. You're main character will die to a single round of combat, but then when you are just trying to end a battle and die because you are out of rez's, it will take 5 minutes to kill off your weakest character. Overall, just seems clunky like the people who made it never played the game. This is 100% a skip until they give QoL improvements for the speed. I could live will all the stupid RNG BS if this game didn't DISRESPECT MY TIME so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ much. You play this game for
For The King II — это что-то вроде облегченной смеси D&D, dungeon crawler и рогалика.
Не уверен, что стал бы проходить For The King II в одиночку.
For The King II не самая глубокая ролевая игра и не самый сложный рогалик. Но как кооперативное приключение с друзьями она работает хорошо. В соло я бы, скорее всего, не стал. С друзьями — рекомендую.
I love it. Does the game make scroll me back up to a normal attack when i use my controller to scroll down to Meditation Tone at the beginning of every turn? Yes. Does it bother me? Yeah. Does the shop I'm inspecting automatically close when it's not my turn? Yes. Could they theoretically suppress that behavior if I am inspecting something? Yes. Does the game ignore my controller inputs on the menus and do they feel wonky as ♥♥♥♥? Yes (but it's not as bad as it used to be). Could they have made a "give" queue that handles giving your items to a teammate when they are in range automatically? Yes. Will they patch that in? Probably not. Is it annoying to select gather focus 4 times on my 4x secondary action character? Yes, it gets old. Could that be streamlined? Yes, at the very least don't require me to scroll down to the ability; just remember what I selected last. If it could be possible to persist the inventory menu as turns progress, it would be very welcome to save an item configuration so that I'm not driving my teammates insane min-maxing and swapping my gear as I enter overworld and dungeons/combat. I would hide those options behind a disabled advanced menu because as it stands the interface is very clean and it does it's job. There are dozens of potential improvements, but as it stands, this is a complete game that scratches a very particular itch and deserves a spot in every gamer's library that appreciates an easy to get into RPG D&D like game.
