Nice and chill fishing game. I like that most of the fish are real and can be found in the habitats they usually live in. I didn't like that every day was rather short with no way to increase the number of fishing tries. That made the downtime of giving you a summary and starting over or heading to the skilltree a significant time sink. The idea to level up the caught fish and increase the rarity chances was good, but the skilltree was lacking. Barely any significant changes to find, it's just a slow grind. The roguelike mode is a nice idea that seems to be lacking too, as I wasn't able to catch anything but common fish on day 5 anymore and therefore the run was over. Overall a nice game if you like fish and a relaxing playstyle.

A very relaxing mindless manual incremental game with good bones, plagued by questionable design decisions, that feels like it's still in early access. Despite all it's issues, it still occupied an evening for me, and was enjoyable. +++ The upgrades are interesting and reasonably well balanced. Pacing is good. ++ The graphics are nice. + I kept closing my eyes and playing by sound, then falling asleep in my chair and losing the bait. Very realistic experience. + I like that you can just pick one good spot and farm it. + Pretty good value for money (approx 5 hours to 100%). +/- Catching the fish is very basic. There's an extremely simple timing minigame, then you hold left click and hope you catch the fish. It's entirely upgrade stat check, there's no skill at all here. - Having to click "next day" every 4 catches is annoying. I was expecting an upgrade to extend this. - The pond mastery system is out of place here… the passive income is so tiny it's a joke. Like 1 gold per second when a single fish is 1000 gold. It stays that way throughout the game, so leveling up ponds is meaningless. - You get an achievement for catching every fish in a zone… which is like 2 fish or 5 seconds. But no achievement for mastery of that zone. Seems like a missed opportunity. - Some minor UI glitches and bugbears. Text displaying over other objects. Text wiggling and being really hard to read. Coloured sections blocking text and being unreadable. - The roguelike mode is mildly interesting, but not very fleshed out. -- The only upgrades that matter are
click damage and fish value
. Everything else is almost useless. -- One of the late game upgrades is just completely bugged.
Extra time plays the defeat sound when you would have lost if not for the extra time, and stun locks you randomly, making it useless
-- You can get into a weird situation where grinding the same fish for money "levels up" that fish and gives more gold but also makes it significantly harder. You usually end up locking yourself out and being unable to catch that fish anymore, so you can't afford the upgrade to catch the fish… very weird design. Not game ruining, but plan around it. -- This has got to be the worst music I've heard in any videogame. It just made me angry. Thankfully you can turn it off. The other sound effects are ok. -- No controller support. No excuse for that in this game, I had to use my mouse on my TV.
I’m a huge fan of incremental games, and I think I’ve found my new favorite. It doesn’t revolutionize the genre, but it masters the core mechanics perfectly. The progression pace is spot-on, the visuals are stunning, and the effects are incredibly satisfying. If, like me, you enjoy repeating the same actions for hours on end, this game is perfect for you.
Joah was soll man sagen: Entspannt fischen, aber gestresste Maus. Andere Sagen: Fischers-Fritz, fischt frische Fische. Frische Fische, fischt Fischers-Fritz. Fazit: Kannste machen.
Um pouco demorado, mas bem relaxante e com uma boa variedade de peixes, fases e melhorias
