An epic dark fantasy where fates are decided by mighty Eikons and the Dominants who wield them. This is the tale of Clive Rosfield, a tragic warrior who swears revenge on the Dark Eikon Ifrit, a mysterious entity that leaves naught but calamity in its wake.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Same day: best JP #72, worst DE #99 · 5 markets collected
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
About
A plethora of powerful swordplay techniques and Eikonic abilities lie within Clive's remit—and it is up to you to decide which ones you wish to learn or upgrade. If you're having trouble choosing, upgrades can be unlocked automatically.
Story-focused mode is recommended for those players who are less comfortable with action games and wish to focus more on the game's story elements. In this mode, Clive will automatically evade some attacks, and epic Eikonic combos can be triggered with simple button presses. Action-focused mode, where Clive's every action is controlled by the player, is available for those who are confident in their skill—or want to test it.

Too many cinematics. I didn't die once in 25 hours of gameplay. All the enemies are the same. Stupid secondary missions. I forgot, more and more cinematics. All the fights are just button spams. It feels like it was intended to be an MMO. I ain't gone lie. It has really highs. The designs and world building is good. The Eikon fights are a visual spectacle. There are some boss fights that are really cool. I don't tend to drop games midway. But this made me do it, I had to uninstall
I got this game as a birthday gift, to be honest the prologue was really interesting and epic, but on the mid-late game i dont know it kinda bored me, a lot of repetitive quest. At least the combat mechanic and eikon fight is really good.. and well its a final fantasy

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 21.11/day in the week to Aug 4 → 25.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

wat to many ♥♥♥♥ sidequests in the way of the actual story, combat is basic hack and slash. not really a final fantasy game other than the story
Was soll ich sagen.....
This is FF16 in a nutshell. Enter zone - cutscene Walk 10 feet - cutscene Fight one pack of enemies - cutscene Talk to an NPC - cutscene - accept mission - cutscene Encounter strong enemy - cutscene Kill strong enemy - cutscene Turn in quest- cutscene Talk to another NPC - cutscene Accept mission - cutscene Do important story thing - 5 to 6 cutscenes in a row NOW, the visuals, voice acting, characters and writing is spectacular. 10/10 Peak cinema at times. The speeches are bit too Shakespearian for my tastes, with characters giving the same speech every few hours and pontificating about the most mundane things but it's all executed well for the most part. Pacing, focus, and performance is kind of mid. You go 15 hours without seeing some characters and then you are supposed to care about them and whatever it is they are doing or whatever happens to them. You will eventually get invested, but outside of Clive and his team, I found it hard to care about anyone else after the first couple Eikon fights. They do have a big in-game glossary which is nice, but I skipped 50% of the cutscenes and was still able to follow along with the plot points. They also front loaded the game with the best characters so the back half of the game is pretty boring. The game stutters constantly and damn near crashes when it transitions from in-game cinematics to the 30 FPS fixed cutscenes which look blurry. The side quests that aren't Hunts are almost completely pointless. You barely get any experience and almost nothing useful in terms of crafting items. It's just an excuse to run around in areas that you barely spend time in for another hour or two. On that point, the areas ARE beautiful but there's nothing to do in them. You drop in, run to the waypoint, do the thing, and leave. Then you come back to do pointless sidequests which just means lots of running back and forth talking to NPCs and a couple quick fights. SNOOZEFEST. I'm also not a huge fan of the combat. It's not bad. But like Tales of Arise, the most challenging encounters are the damage sponge boss fights. They aren't difficult, they just take forever to beat and I'm not a fan of that style of combat. I'd much rather have a shorter and more difficult encounter where both sides can deal big damage to each other, rather than chipping away and dodging for 15 minutes only to get a long cutscene and a second long fight right after. I'm not finished with the game yet, but I'm near the end and right now, this game feels like a 7. A hard 7. It does most of the important things well, but it also does so many little things in a way that is annoying to me that I can't see myself coming back to play this again. For a Final Fantasy game, I guess it's better than 9, 12 and 13, but overall worse than the best games like 7, 8, or 10. Hell, even 15 was better in my opinion. This one falls in the middle somewhere.
Not a great JRPG game but a solid 8/10 action game. Playing this right after Crimson Desert helped me realized a great story can really carry a game despite being a much darker story than the usual FF , the forgettable story of CD turned me away from that game really fast in spite of the great gameplay. The progression is really linear so there's not much RPG in this game and the sidequests can be boring at time but the visual feast of the main quests and the Eikon fights is just too good that i think everyone should give it a try. Wait for a sale to get the main game and all the dlcs , totally worth it.
