Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 5.67/day in the week to Aug 4 → 6/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I forced myself to finish this game after trying to play through it about four times over many years, and I have to say it really just was not worth it.
Eu gostei bastante do combate, gostei do elenco, gostei do universo, adorei a direção artística e principalmente a trilha sonora. Recomendo, 8/10

👍
For me, the game was fine. It is not a top Final Fantasy game, but it was still enjoyable for the most part. Battle gameplay is good, but it can get repetitive towards the end of the game. I found paradigm shifts and stagger system to be interesting and helped keep me engaged in the battles. However, you mostly do the same strategy except for the turtles and the final C'ieth mission. The story was fine. It was about how the party had to fight against their fates and build the resolve to choose their own destiny. I did enjoy the character development of some of the characters, especially Lightning. I didn't mind the linear parts, but the part when the game opens up was annoying to navigate. If you did not unlock the teleporters, you will have to do a lot of walking. Expect a lot of backtracking because some of the C'ieth missions require you to go to different areas. Thankfully, you can see them as a red star in the map. The soundtrack in this game is good, especially the battle music. Achievements aren't too hard, but it does require a lot of grinding. For post-game, you mostly need to farm a lot of gil and material drops for upgrading. Missable chests are kinda hard to miss because there's a map to show areas you may miss AND there's a sound when you're close to one.
Doesn't work
I came back to Final Fantasy XIII, having eagerly awaited it's release on the original hardware and had dropped it due to it's lack of similarities to the older games I enjoyed so much. I decided to come back to see if my original distaste was founded and discovered that this is in fact a very enjoyable experience with a few caveats. biggest elephant in the room is the fact that this steam release is a buggy ass mess and after powering on for a few hours, I found it not optional but absolutely necessary to use the Fix Mod and Ram Upgrader so many have posted about on here. please can this be changed at some point I found myself blown away by the world that was rich in lore, and in depth of the project and it's construction via the datalog entries you pick up but found that the story itself lacked the presentation to truly get this across. a much more superior experience would have been had if time had been spent weaving this into the narrative rather than just blobs of optional reading. battle system is very fun. something that originally put me off now is a plus, with it truly shining in the more long drawn out super fights which require shifts and strats that mean you must be paying attention. a very good game, an average final fantasy, an inspired setting, a ♥♥♥♥ port
