Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

After playing a bunch of Final Fantasy games I can say without a doubt that no other FF has felt this extense by far, and yeah you probably guessed it, its the gameplay, it's flawed, like FFVIII levels of flawed, I readed the reviews before buying so I knew what I was getting into, the battle idea is fun, but actually battling just feels way too long, even if you have a strong build or you do manual commands, upgrading is chore, crystalarium is a chore, the whole game feels like you're being forced to continue rather than batling because it's enjoyable. With that said, I kept playing and probably will keep playing because at the end it's still a Final Fantasy, an interesting story, lovable characters and a great sountrack, I experienced maybe one crash at most, the game went smooth always and my PC is Irish levels of potato.

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 5.67/day in the week to Aug 4 → 6/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The final fantasy that ruined the whole franchise to me and how on hell did it get 2 sequels is beyond me. I still remember playing it on the PS3 back then and god what even with this awful gameplay and extremal dumb story that you NEED to read a frigging data log EVERY second to even understand what's going on. I don't understand why some people give this game a high rating which it doesn't deserve...I guess most of them never played a real Final Fantasy game I guess. It have great graphic and amazing soundtrack at least but other than that this game single handedly killed the franchise to me.
I feel like I'm gaining weight and losing brain cells playing this game. The story tries to be deep but it's genuinely dumber than Final Fantasy 2's (the worst game in the series.) The story will straight up lie in order to keep you engaged and drop sudden twists without warning, just for them to not end up mattering in the slightest later in the story. Every character except Lightning is one dimensional and there was multiple times when I was caught off guard by how strangely some of them act during the events of the story. The most common complaint of this game is how there are basically no side quests and every playable environment is a straight line. I'm not personally offended by this decision, but it does make playing the game feel even more mindless than it had to be. Final Fantasy 10 is often considered the best game in the series and it follows a very similar structure to 13. The difference is, 10 will have small, insignificant areas with more to do in them than entire cities seen in 13. Cities filled with mindless NPC's and pointless structures serve to exasperate the linearity of the story and playable areas. The combat tries to be engaging, but it's even more brain dead than the story. It is honestly very stimulating seeing the big numbers pop up on the screen, but that's ultimately a cheep trick to dump dopamine since basically every enemy has vast amounts of HP anyways. Encounters are not random, but you still have to do them as enemies basically block up most of the walkable space. In Dragon Quest 12, enemies are laid out in vast areas, making fighting a choice. In Final Fantasy 13, enemies act as road blocks, forcing you to fight them, acting the same as random battles. Although these minor issues show failings in the game design, they don't necessarily take away from my enjoyment of the game. Easily the WORST part of the battle system is how Square basically turned the game into an auto battler. Player input boils down to witching between various offensive and defensive modes instead of choosing which attacks each party member does. This one decision basically turns the game into a mindless button masher. Although the level up system is actually pretty good (a worse version of Final Fantasy 10's) the game is the JRPG equivalent to junk food. There are lots of pretty colors and big numbers, but very little substance and honestly very little reason to play the game. If you want to play a button masher, just play Final Fantasy 15 or 16. If you want to play a JRPG with a good story and combat, just play Final Fantasy 10. I know this game is somehow popular in Japan, but I'm sorry, this game just didn't translate well at all.
While I personally wasn't a big fan of the combat mechanics, I loved the characters and the story was really good.
