Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 17: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.11/day in the week to Aug 4 → 2.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game is super awesome. I was 13 when this game originally released, and I never got very far into it, primarily because of the combat system. Now I gave it a fair chance as an adult, and I really liked it. Back then, Final Fantasy was synonymous with turn based combat. The new combat system is very different, and really is radically different from how Final Fantasy was before. You now program your team to automatically deal with the challenges you're going to face. Making an efficient setup feels nice, and you can mostly just bash everything in your way, without having to interfere. So now the game is much more about preparation of your strategy and watching it unfold, rather than constantly planning your turns ahead. It's cool, and interesting, and I can kinda tell how this influenced the combat of the later games. I enjoyed the story a lot. This game is much more focused on international politics and warfare. There's a lot of worldbuilding happening, and I really enjoyed learning about Ivalice. I like the characters too. Balthier is the greatest. The presentation is really nice too. When I played this on release, I was completely blown away by the visuals. I could not believe this was possible on a PS2. Today, it's obviously aged, but the game still looks great. The prerendered cutscenes are still so good. The level of details in the sprawling cities and big battles are stunning. While the soundtracks is not the greatest of the series, it's still up to par. The main theme is excellent. For the voice actors, they apparently got stage actors, who usually don't do VA, to do the voices. I think it was a cool choice, as the voices acting is very memorable, and I enjoyed that a lot. Really elevated the experience for me, and made the game feel theatrical. My biggest advice to new players, would probably be to not do any side content unless you're underleveled. I did the side content while progressing through the story, and it made me so powerful, the big moments of the latter parts of the story became more and more trivial. I decided to 100% the game, as I got quite far, and it ended up deflating the ending a lot. Even finishing the final endgame content after finishing the story doesn't really feel worth it. The post-game bosses are really not that interesting to fight, and not super rewarding to complete. While talking about the negatives, espers/summons feel pretty pointless in this game, and the quickenings/overdrive attacks are annoying and slow. Probably half of magicks and techniques in this game are pointless. Basic Attack + Heal can handle most of the game, and then buffs/debuffs for the harder fights. Mostly. So all in all, a great entry in the series, with a cool and unique combat system, with a few gripes about the gameplay and endgame content
Great game overall! I really like Ivalice! This version lets you speed up combat, so if you like playing for the story, it is even more fun.
melhor final fantasy com gameplay divertida
