Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Reviews
This is literally one of my favorite games ever, and I used to play it a LOT with one of my cousins. The nostalgia is strong with this one.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 17: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.11/day in the week to Aug 4 → 2.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

IIRC this title had a lot of interference from the suits. As a result a lot of characters, while still a charming collective, are still under-cooked. For example, Vaan as a PoV character isn't a bad choice, but his story arc ends pretty early in. For the rest of the game he's just there to say dumb things and fill in your third party slot. Everyone else gets a similar 15 minutes of spotlight before they're relegated to just being a pretty teammate you need to buy gear for. You do want to spend more time with them in classic FF tradition, but you're left wanting. I felt the Gambit system works fine enough for a fast action game like this. The two job system does erase any hint of difficulty from the game after you get it, and if you make the mistake of using the provided cheat codes well... I guess you just want to see Fran high kick or something. You certainly won't be doing it for the challenge. FFX was the end of the classic era. FFXII was the blueprint for the modern era. Like the rest of the modern era games it never reaches its full potential... They're pretty games, not powerful. ones... but it is something worth experiencing.
Muy buen juego, atemporal
very fun
嗯,没有刻意刷,在蛇夫矿里拿到了最强矛,感觉一辈子的人品都用光了。。。。。。
Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age is what you get when you take the original Star Wars, invert its SciFi-Fantasy Ratio, and mix it up with the most convinient classic FF game you can get. I think the focus for this game is gameplay: It is pretty much the last "classic" Final Fantasy game as I see it, its work real-time with the well-known ATB system, and it works well. The speedup option helps a lot too, and the gambit system is something that should be praised, and copied by all party-based RPGs. (No more braindead AI teammates hurrah!) The world and map design is very well done too, the interconnections and later unlocks all make the world feel a bit more real. And while the story is not too long, there is a lot be done even in post-game with the Hunt system. While it did a lot right, I would be lying if I said the game is perfect though. There are still grindy sidequesting to be done, lots of loading screens, and a few stinker enemy and dungeon designs, I'm mainly thinking about the second-to-last dungeon. (you know which one) If you like JRPGs, especially from the 2000s, this is an easy recommendation.
best rpg
This is not a bad game. Go play literally every other final fantasy game before you play this. it is so much worse of a combat system and all the side quests are so tedious. Every other main line final fantasy is better. every single one.
This was my favorite game back in the PS2 and new and improved in every way with this version! Perfection!
