Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Add-ons
Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.
Sums Steam only; PlayStation, Epic, Nintendo publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Too many poorly thought out minigames, of which wastes the players time and dampens the actual story or the fun of playing it in and of itself. The game also penalizes you when you try selecting "retry" from the pause menu by going through a lengthy loading process where you more or less restart the entire game itself (not the minigame) from the last autosave, wasting even more of your time.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Same day: best CA #19, worst CN #73 · 11 markets collected
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 36.33/day in the week to Aug 4 → 40/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Changes the story and characters from the OG for the worse. Because Squenix decide to make one game into three Rebirth is poorly paced and stuffed with fluff, much of which is uninteresting. The combat is good and the game looks good, so it's fun for a while to run around and fight stuff with the OG cast but its not enough to make the whole game a good experience. If you want an FF7 experience play the original, if you want an action focused jrpg go play tales of berseria or arise.
cactuar crush gave me a burn-out, actually cactuars in general did. i get shivers when i think of starting the game up and i cant finish it for now. save me
They really did figure out how to stretch what was originally a 60-80 hour jrpg into the 3 part 100+ hour slopfest that this trilogy is. Maybe in the third installment, they'll actually let us play a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ action rpg instead of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ MARIO PARTY MINIGAMES. Even if you bought this game on sale at a heavy discount like I did, you still paid way too much. Do yourself a favor and sail the seven seas if you really wanna torture yourself with this piece of god-awful software.
Played Remake Integrade and loved it. So I bought this thinking it'll be awesome too. This one is so poorly optimized for PC that mods are required in order to play. Had the same experience playing FF16 on PC. Wtf squareenix...
Not fun
Brilliant game. Some technical difficulties, that can be solved with some mods, but putting those aside, the game is an absolute masterpiece. Also, hi Zack again!
6/10!!!!! Game filled with bloat sidestuff that doesnt have ANYTHING to do with the main story and unfortunatly some of those "minigames"are mandatory to progress. also, STOP taking away the controls of my character or slow pace walking! Its cheap and annoying! The last big moment at the end of the game didn't do much for me because of all of this. It still get a recommended for the visuals and sephiroth is just a badass villain, but overall very meh and not worth the hype
Before I get into the review, I played on Steam Deck with the FSR4 mod, it was much better than it was out of the box. This game is in no way optimised for the Steam Deck but FS4 with Optiscaler and Frame Gen does the job. Now onto the review: Here's 90 hours I'll never get back. Absolute disaster. A masterpiece that has been put into the wrong hands, complete sabotage of what made the original story so impactful. I wasn't a fan of the ending of Part 1, but figured I'd give Part 2 a shot. I should have followed my instinct when it told me that there was no way on earth they could save this mess of a story. This is by far the biggest gaming disappointment I've had that I can remember. Don't get me wrong, there are good things in this game. The camaraderie, the sense of adventure, some of the locations are brilliant. Pretty much whatever was kept from the original is great. But the rest, what's new and what they did to the story and its tone is an absolute disgrace to the original material. If you like generic open worlds, convoluted story, irrelevant fetch quests, and mini games ad nauseam, look no further. This is one of the most frustrating, incoherent and bipolar game I've played, period. I would strongly recommend AVOIDING this, unless you're prepared to go on a bloated, uninspired and awfully paced adventure that will take at least 80 very long hours of your time. Not even the combat and gameplay can save this game from the utter boredom and frustration that comes with almost every aspect of the game. I am furious at the dev for taking a massive dump on the gem the original game was. I don't mind if others like the story (to each their own), I'm just devastated that this is probably the only remake we'll ever get of FF7, and this is what we get. Purely incompetent and greedy. Oh and also, how many times are we gonna fight this guy (you know who I'm talking about) throughout the three remakes? Seriously, the creatives at SquareEnix have understood NOTHING about the original game. A complete mess, and a regretful experience for me.
