Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Add-ons
Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.
Sums Steam only; PlayStation, Epic, Nintendo publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

A hallow shell of what made remake so good. Endless minigames and pointless side content covering up a great story and fun moments. Janky open world that doesn't feel fun to explore at all. Hopefully the 3rd one does better

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Same day: best FR #11, worst KR #43 · 13 markets collected
US · last 30 days
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 36.33/day in the week to Aug 4 → 40/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

love this game. anyone complaining about minigames hates whimsy and doesn't know what optional means
Brilliant game, but please delete Chadley
First of all, I wanna say that I definitely enjoyed this game overall, but there's few things I disliked that I would have to point out. The optimization in this game sucks, one of the laziest playstation ports on steam, I had to experiment with the settings to make the game playable and even then still it crashed a few times. Excessive amount of minigames and bossfights. Dont even get me started on those. In almost every single chapter there's non-skippable mini games that you have to play in order to advance through the main story, and even though I enjoyed some of them, a lot of em were really annoying, like the chocobo minigame for instance. About the bossfights, my main playthrough was on normal and compared to the first part of the remake this felt like hell. I didnt pay much attention to the builds and abilities I was using so when it came to the real deal I just had to suffer. Not only there's some back to back bossfights, there's also bossfights where you can play only with 2 characters that you may never used in your main party. The final bossfight also got me crying, I think it was about 7 back to back battles with different characters for each (almost smashed my controller) and I dont even think you can save between them so I had to restart multiple times. Anyway, back to the good part of the game, the characters are still amazing. I really enjoyed the diverse biomes and different regions that were included. The graphical aspects also met my expectations and the story truly touches your heart. P.S. I loved the queen's blood mini game
fix your game. holy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
The game was a nightmare to get running, but when I finally did, the only setting it would run on was one that made the game look cheap and not good. Once I got rid of the stuttering, the game threw so many new mechanics at me that it felt less like new features and more like just a lot of bloat. Nothing but busy tasks and checklists. There's too much going on. They should've kept systems fairly simple like the first remake. Will be watching cutscenes later to skip the snore fest. Wish I could've got my money back but it's fine, sort of
FF VII : MINI GAME EDITION with STUTTER feature. I play on 9950x3d / 5090 WaterCool / 96 GB RAM DDR5 / SSD Samsung and the GAME just STUTTER STUTTER STUTTER. Not to mention, that the MINI GAME itself got more feature than the main game. I came HERE FOR A-RPG! NOT MINI GAME! FOR ♥♥♥♥ SAKE. Not to mention, the open-world CONTENT are just unbearable. I thought, might just me getting old for not enjoying open world content but NO!!!! Ghost of Tsushima, Expedition 33, i NEVER get TIRED of those open world things... in this game? THE OPEN WORLD Content are just SUCK ASS. Honesstly... the open world and mini game stuff are just to purposedly make the games FELT LONGERS... Final Verdict, FF VII Rebirth of FILLER and STUTTER. Uninstall, can't finish this ♥♥♥♥.
The OG FF7 was The Lord of the Rings, these remakes are The Hobbit trilogy.
