Featuring fully voiced dialogue, beautifully enhanced graphics, and countless gameplay improvements, the genre-defining tactical RPG makes its long-awaited return.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
About

Ivalice—a kingdom blessed by the light of the gods and ruled by the Two-headed Lion. A year after her defeat to Ordallia in the Fifty Years' War, the king succumbed to malady, leaving a mere boy of two to ascend the throne.
Whoever was named regent would rule in truth, and thus emerged two rival candidates: dukes Goltanna and Larg, whose deeds during the war had earned them great renown. Goltanna the Black Lion and Larg the White Lion were destined to clash, and the resulting conflict would come to be known as the War of the Lions.
Against this backdrop appear Ramza, third son of House Beoulve, one of Ivalice's leading military families, and his childhood companion Delita, a commoner raised amongst nobles. As they endeavor to chart a course through this tumultuous age, a mighty current draws them ever closer to the abyss.

Lead your party in exhilarating encounters where strategic positioning and forward planning determine the outcome. Use the varied terrain of 3D battlefields to your advantage, skillfully manipulate the turn order, and victory will be yours for the taking.

Combine a wide variety of jobs and abilities to craft your very own strategies.
As your party members grow, they will gain access to more jobs, each with its own unique abilities. Once learned, abilities can be used even after changing to another job. With over 20 jobs to master—including white mage, black mage, dragoon, and many others from the FINAL FANTASY series—and hundreds of abilities to learn, you have the freedom to experiment and discover the combinations that best suit your party. Chocobos and other creatures can also be tamed and led into battle.

With improved graphics, fully voiced dialogue, and refined gameplay, the enhanced version provides the perfect way to immerse yourself in the world of Ivalice. Along with the fine-tuning of several features and battle mechanics, the inclusion of the more accessible "Squire" difficulty setting makes the enhanced version an excellent starting point for first-time players.
The classic version unites the graphics and gameplay of the original 1997 version with the renowned War of the Lions translation for a unique way to experience this beloved title.
The Enhanced version of the game supports a wide variety of controller options.
It also supports keyboard and mouse controls.
The Classic version of the game only supports XInput controllers.
Keyboard controls are also supported, but mouse controls are not supported.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 20: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Latest in each market: best FR #78, worst JP #94 · 9 markets collected
US · last 30 days
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.67/day in the week to Aug 5 → 5.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Big fan of when games give you both the remastered version and the original version in the same game, also this game rules EDIT AFTER FINISHING: Delita is the worst and I hate him and he deserved what he got EDIT AGAIN: Okay my emotions got the best of me he aint so bad but hes still a bit of a cuckold
The 2025 release of FFT:IC captures that childhood nostalgia, wholesome game play, and engaging storyline that I remember from previous releases. Combine that with tons of QoL improvements - we've got ourselves a solid game, boys. Excellent job, Square. You've done it again.
The best Final Fantasy is even better. JP voice acting is outstanding.
8/10 Very good game. Would recommend. My two complaints are, that it's either hard. I guess you can try lowering the difficoulty and skip optional stuff, I havent tested that, becouse I was so set on stealing from Elmdore. So maybe thats just an issue specific to me. But mugic numbers don't help. After playing the game for 40h I still have no clue how hit chance and damage are calculated, and the skill descriptions are quite poor too. I know that the deal damage in specified radius (it's good that at lest says that much), but supposedly it has a chance to inflict status effects but whats the chance? What does it do? I don't know I either guess or look it up on a wiki. There might be a good way to learn about the mechanics of this game, but I just haven't found it. Anyway my second complaint would be that this game is a bit grindy. And by that I mean it expects you to spend some of your precious time on doing random battles just to increase your numbers a bit. Don't get me wrong you probably can only do the story battles and still beat the game, but mechanichs I saw in the game kind of suggest to me that it is an intended way to play. As an example to this I will use the fact that at certain points in the story you get named characters to join your party. Which is very cool, but the problem is that they only get a bit job experionce in their unique class, and have nothing else. So each time a new character joins you, it requirees a bit of a grind to unlock abilities you want for them. For me it ment I just never used them, becouse i did a lot of grinding with my randos in the early game, and it just didn't make sense to me to repeat this process few more times, when my starting randos already have everything I would need for all the battles. I'm only a bit worried I missed some unique dialog that you can get by fielding named characters for story missions. But I'll never know. So anyway even thou I spent 70% of the previous paragraph on complaining I still think it's a good game worth playing (thou I would recommend to wait for a discount. Even if the remake was made in 2025, the core game was made in 97, and I don't think remake adds enough to justify price tag. My good Square Enix want's more money for this game than kepler interactive for expedition 33. I bought it on a discount for an equivalence of 35USD, and I think I still overpayed a bit.) I just wanted to tell about the downsides, if some of those might be a issue to you. If you can get over the stuff I mentioned, like i did, you will definitely have a good time in this game. Also as a side note. I felt the age of this game, not only in ui and graphics but in gameplay as well. I'm pretty sure that this game would be very diffrent if it was made today and not a remade from almost 30 year old title. I would love to try a modern game with this style of gameplay. I know that there probably is a game like that out there, but this was my first experience with this genre. I hope this reviou helped you a bit decide if you want to play this game or not. Good luck to you.
Absolutely fantastic, one of the greatest games ever made is now fully voice acted and voice acted VERY well. Lots of quality of life improvements. This is the definitive way to play FF Tactics.
Was fun to play one of the classics remastered
my favorite FF game / spinoff; looking forward to trying out New Game+ variant
