Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
About

Ivalice—a kingdom blessed by the light of the gods and ruled by the Two-headed Lion. A year after her defeat to Ordallia in the Fifty Years' War, the king succumbed to malady, leaving a mere boy of two to ascend the throne.
Whoever was named regent would rule in truth, and thus emerged two rival candidates: dukes Goltanna and Larg, whose deeds during the war had earned them great renown. Goltanna the Black Lion and Larg the White Lion were destined to clash, and the resulting conflict would come to be known as the War of the Lions.
Against this backdrop appear Ramza, third son of House Beoulve, one of Ivalice's leading military families, and his childhood companion Delita, a commoner raised amongst nobles. As they endeavor to chart a course through this tumultuous age, a mighty current draws them ever closer to the abyss.

Lead your party in exhilarating encounters where strategic positioning and forward planning determine the outcome. Use the varied terrain of 3D battlefields to your advantage, skillfully manipulate the turn order, and victory will be yours for the taking.

Combine a wide variety of jobs and abilities to craft your very own strategies.
As your party members grow, they will gain access to more jobs, each with its own unique abilities. Once learned, abilities can be used even after changing to another job. With over 20 jobs to master—including white mage, black mage, dragoon, and many others from the FINAL FANTASY series—and hundreds of abilities to learn, you have the freedom to experiment and discover the combinations that best suit your party. Chocobos and other creatures can also be tamed and led into battle.

With improved graphics, fully voiced dialogue, and refined gameplay, the enhanced version provides the perfect way to immerse yourself in the world of Ivalice. Along with the fine-tuning of several features and battle mechanics, the inclusion of the more accessible "Squire" difficulty setting makes the enhanced version an excellent starting point for first-time players.
The classic version unites the graphics and gameplay of the original 1997 version with the renowned War of the Lions translation for a unique way to experience this beloved title.
The Enhanced version of the game supports a wide variety of controller options.
It also supports keyboard and mouse controls.
The Classic version of the game only supports XInput controllers.
Keyboard controls are also supported, but mouse controls are not supported.

Reviews
This was one of my favorite games growing up and it greatly influenced me at that age, so I am baised, but from just playing the enhanced edition into the first chapter I think this game is still great. The job system is great, it offers a lot of variety and the power swings as you change into new classes with barely any skills offers a bit of tension as your power grows. And if you dive into the mechanics, you can make ridiculous monsters out of your characters which can be it's own fun. The story is great, there is a clear theme of “power corrupts”, or rather “power for dominating and controlling others corrupts”. The plot starts with a focus on medieval political intrigues and segues more into a more straightforward “get the bad guys” demon hunt. Some people don’t like this shift, and I used to agree with them, but with more thought I think it’s an excellent continuation of the greater themes in the game and is important to what the game is trying to say. Of course this doesn’t mean those people are wrong for disliking the shift, even a perfectly executed dish will receive lukewarm reviews from those without a taste for the style (and while I love FFT, it certainly isn’t perfectly executed.) I was also someone who didn’t really like the style of the updated (PSP era) translation. It was much more legible, but the loss of some fantastic lines and the overwrought English bothered me. While I still miss “Blame yourself or God”, I think the added voice acting elevates the overwrought English and I ended up really enjoying it this playthrough. That or my tastes have changed, it has been many years since I played the PSP copy of FFT. For the combat, I think it’s great. For comparison, I had been playing Tactics Ogre: Reborn, which has plenty to like but I often find battles can turn into a slow slog (this can easily be my own incompetence but regardless that is my experience.) I haven’t finished it yet but playing FFT I felt the battles moved much faster and were snappier than Tactics Ogre’s were. The battles in FFT are so fun I was able to grind out the “master all jobs” achievement with no problem which I was unsure I'd be able to do, sure that I would get bored and give up. It should be clear by now that I recommend this game to you, and if it has piqued your interest enough for you to check it out and read this long steam review, I think you will find something special in this game too, just as I did years ago.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 20: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

US · last 30 days
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.67/day in the week to Aug 5 → 5.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

fun stuff
The tactic elements of this game are outstanding. If this is all you care about the game is brilliant. For 20 year old graphics the hardware requirements are a bit too bold, on 2 of 4 of my computers the game wouldn't run. The story maybe is good if you have a good memory but for me it's way to difficult to track all the different factions and their shifting goals. After some time I just use fast forwards to skip all the story elements.
Its FFT. Who cares if the stuff from the PSP isn't there? Dark Knight makes the game way too easy as is.
This is my first time playing final fantasy tactics and while I really enjoyed this, I do not think it is for everyone. The positives for me were the story and the music. The story might be one of the best story told in video games with so many twists and turns. My one hesitation in recommending this game is the gameplay. While I did enjoy the tactics gameplay later in the game, this game kicks your butt in the beginning. There are multiple battles that are straight up frustrating if you don't really want to grind levels or JP points. If you can deal with the tough start and a little grinding, I think this is a must play.
I loved this game since it came out on the playstaytion, then on the PSP and then the PSP Vita, and its always fun to play it over and over again, now in this enhanced edition with voiced characters its even better, I suggest you to buy this if you love Ogre Kingdom or Final fantasy to begin with. Key secrets - You get xp when hitting yourself...now is there skills that can help doing this over and over again, get the game and find out hit that lvl 99 on the first map.
挺好的。
I used to play this on PSX all the time, I think the revamps with the enhanced edition are quite nice, not all them are for the better, but overall they did a decent job on it and they did add some QoL stuff compared to the original that makes it a much smoother play, such as being able to flee from random encounters before entering combats. You can also still play the classic version through this as well, I am not sure if its exactly the same as the old one as I have only been playing the enhanced, but I like it, still just as tactile and challenging as it has always been and I love the difficulty settings, allowing to increase the challenge if normal is too easy for you.
Always loved this game, but it was like 25 years ago i played this last time. Brings up alot of memories. Runs well on CachyOs.
