Featuring fully voiced dialogue, beautifully enhanced graphics, and countless gameplay improvements, the genre-defining tactical RPG makes its long-awaited return.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.67/day in the week to Aug 5 → 5.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Ivalice—a kingdom blessed by the light of the gods and ruled by the Two-headed Lion. A year after her defeat to Ordallia in the Fifty Years' War, the king succumbed to malady, leaving a mere boy of two to ascend the throne.
Whoever was named regent would rule in truth, and thus emerged two rival candidates: dukes Goltanna and Larg, whose deeds during the war had earned them great renown. Goltanna the Black Lion and Larg the White Lion were destined to clash, and the resulting conflict would come to be known as the War of the Lions.
Against this backdrop appear Ramza, third son of House Beoulve, one of Ivalice's leading military families, and his childhood companion Delita, a commoner raised amongst nobles. As they endeavor to chart a course through this tumultuous age, a mighty current draws them ever closer to the abyss.

Lead your party in exhilarating encounters where strategic positioning and forward planning determine the outcome. Use the varied terrain of 3D battlefields to your advantage, skillfully manipulate the turn order, and victory will be yours for the taking.

Combine a wide variety of jobs and abilities to craft your very own strategies.
As your party members grow, they will gain access to more jobs, each with its own unique abilities. Once learned, abilities can be used even after changing to another job. With over 20 jobs to master—including white mage, black mage, dragoon, and many others from the FINAL FANTASY series—and hundreds of abilities to learn, you have the freedom to experiment and discover the combinations that best suit your party. Chocobos and other creatures can also be tamed and led into battle.

With improved graphics, fully voiced dialogue, and refined gameplay, the enhanced version provides the perfect way to immerse yourself in the world of Ivalice. Along with the fine-tuning of several features and battle mechanics, the inclusion of the more accessible "Squire" difficulty setting makes the enhanced version an excellent starting point for first-time players.
The classic version unites the graphics and gameplay of the original 1997 version with the renowned War of the Lions translation for a unique way to experience this beloved title.
The Enhanced version of the game supports a wide variety of controller options.
It also supports keyboard and mouse controls.
The Classic version of the game only supports XInput controllers.
Keyboard controls are also supported, but mouse controls are not supported.

Ramza carries one of the best stories in tactics RPGs (and FF??)! The political depth and twists still hit hard decades later. Gameplay's hella addictive, Steam Deck performance is great with atleast 2-3 hours gameplay and stable 60 fps!! Only gripe: ditch the Denuvo so this can be played fully offline on the go tbh that's the one thing standing between this and a perfect handheld experience... Highly recommended. 9/10, would tactic again.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 20: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

This is the 3rd time I've bought Tactics. Maybe that's stupid but I dunno it's worth it every time to me. This port could have cleaned up the UI some more but still. Incredible game. Would play again. Would recommend again. Arithmeticians are so busted.
denuvo drm + overpriced
Denuno DRM, can't be played offline. F that
现代化改革是不需要的,情怀还是要赚的; 看得出来SE对自家产品的底蕴很有自信,当年的神作原封不动的搬出来再卖一遍。所以这次端出来的诚意就是一年以后支持官方中文吗
I did not grow up with this game, but I've played a couple other games of the genre before. I completed the remaster version on tactician difficulty. I liked the voice acting, the side-quest characters and the ability to rename your units. I tamed a Behemoth King and named him Cookie. Thanks to the poach skill, Cookie is now a bow. Never used it. Bows just aren't very good. If you like high-fantasy RPGs, then this is right up your alley. If you've played FF 12 or 14 before, you'll definitely recognize the Ivalice connections. And of course, if you've played FF Tactics before, you'll definitely enjoy the nostalgia. I feel mixed about this game, but the recent update pushed me towards 'thumbs up'. My main issues with this game are gameplay related - early grinding trivializes most story stages, there is no actual end-game challenge/superboss and the overall pacing is just very slow. A couple more nitpicks: - Every minor system in the game is over-explained through a textbox, no matter how clear it is. It's good to know that the inventory menu shows your items, I guess. [strike] Too bad the Zodiac compatibility system isn't explained at all [/strike]. They patched this into the game now, GG. - You can fast-forward most animations during combat, which is great. However, if you get too used to fast-forwarding, you are going to accidently skip character-specific battle-dialogues, which feels bad. - If you want to find certain enemies in random encounters, you can't just reset what the RNG spawned for you. You need to place one unit, commence the battle and wait for its turn every time you want to reset the stage, which does nothing but waste time. - The tavern menu specifically likes to annoy you with the menu-specific input delay. Menus don't let you move up and down instantly - so if you want to quickly want to navigate through menus, you'll often confirm into the first available menu because of that input-delay. It's usually fine because the first menu is often the one that matters, but in the tavern that's not the case.

100% achievement completion means clearing a post-game dungeon, grinding specific monster kills for rare items (RIP Cookie) and running around in circles on the world map while waiting for errands to finish. The actual worst part is acquiring every ability, which requires both patience (because you'll need to grind every job to unlock abilities) and guidance (because 2 specific abilities are unlocked differently and are very easy to miss). Overall, 100%ing this could be worse. I'd recommend saving into multiple slots, though. Checkpoints can save your playthrough in this game - auto-saves are not enough if you want some unique stuff.
The best way to play an all-time classic. The QoL improvements and full voice acting are great changes and help this game feel good 20 years after release.
