despite the number of hours listed in steam. this is my third time playing this game. I played it on the original playstation, the remaster on the ps4 and now in this platform with mods. To me, this is the best final fantasy there is *granted i haven't played 1-6,*. The story, the characters, the struggles, and the gameplay. I would daresay it is an almost perfect FF with the exception of its art-style (which i like, but others might not like the whole chibi anime style. to me it's perfect tho.) It is a game I play when i really want to relax and just be lost in its world again. So yeah 10/10 I'll play a 4th playthrough after this.
A flawed gem from m'childhood. Mods helped with the nitpicking (which there are multiple), that I had with the combat/UI etc. Far, *far* from perfect. *But my "perfect" FF <3

Is one of the best games of the story. It's the most undertaed one, but is a real masterpiece, and you can see it from the start. Have fun, and use mods to restore the original sounds as well as allow a higher resolution and widescreen if you want a fine experience.
O jogo já é um conhecido da era do ouro do PS1 e da Squaresoft, quem não conhece se der uma chance irá adorar explorar o universo de FF IX. Simplesmente, maravilhoso!
the first final fantasy game i finished and probably not the last... what a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game, little modding (hd textures + 30fps cinematics + unlocked fps) do SO MUCH for this game beautiful story, amazing characters, i can think of only once or twice in 40hrs that the game bothered me or i thought something was unfair. i hate mustard bombs with all my soul

My sexto Final Fantasy y me ha parecido excelente, la verdad es que es una saga increíble que me alegra mucho haber jugado, aún me faltan algunos que quiero juegar como el 10 y el 12, pero de momento este es de mis favoritos. La batalla contra Ozma no la voy a olvidar nunca, que bola más injusta, me lanzó meteor+curse en 10 encuentros consecutivos xD
