Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 13: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.11/day in the week to Aug 4 → 4.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

前面整个游戏都不错,最后男主冒死去拯救boss库加给我整脑溢血了,如果不是这个场景放在最后已经没有可以操控的情节了,估计会当场弃游
One of the best mainline FF games I've played so far
한글 패치가 없어서 답답
Good game, good mechanics, ok story. Lots of stuff to do that doesn't feel boring like the new final fantasy titles.
한글 번역 없이 하느라 귀찮았지만 그래도 노래와 특유의 분위기가 좋았어요 리메이크 해주세요 언능
Possible spoilers
I don't use half points for my scores

Love the artstyle, very cartoony. Lots of allusions to the rest of the franchise, leitmotifs, character designs, story beats, etc. Crystals are back in a way
The ATB is so slow in this game. The combat system felt close to ff4 and ff6, restrictive in a similar way. Each character had a specific gimmick. There are active and support abilities, both are learned from equipment using AP. Support abilities need to be equipped into limited slots, they felt fine. The limit break system, Trance, is lore relevant but felt underbaked as a mechanic. Theoretically changes the way your characters play but I prefer limit breaks.
Lots of little mini games, most were kind of fun
(Chocobo Hot & Cold, Auction House)
. The superboss
Ozma
is accessed at the end of the
Chocobo
minigame, very fun fight. I did use a guide but still challenging
The story is good. Definitely a final fantasy story. Zidane is the main character, but the heart of the story is definitely my boy Vivi.
Learning about the meaning of life and the reasons to live.
The characters are all fairly stereotypical but that's about what I expected so it was fine. For the final boss,
I didn't like Cloud of Darkness or Zeromus, and I don't like Necron either. I understand how it ties into the themes of the story, but it just isn't interesting to have a faceless enemy with no real motivation for the party to fight beyond, "We will defeat you to save the world!"

The music is once again amazing, lots of references in leitmotifs from the previous games and apparently one from FFX as well. Didn't feel as unique as 7 or 8, but that's by design so not really a criticism
Overall pretty good game, I didn't like it all that much, but I can see why someone may love it. Last game with Sakaguchi and Uematsu as directors, definitely felt like a farewell
Time to Beat - 39.4 hours Story - 3/5 Music - 5/5 Artstyle - 5/5 Combat - 2/5 Overall - 3/5
Es y será el mejor juego que he jugado en mi vida.
