About
Venture into a handcrafted world where ruins whisper of past cataclysms. Master the art of sword and sorcery and forge your path with relics, spells and choices that shape who you become in this first-person RPG.
While Fatekeeper follows a focused narrative path, the world invites exploration. From ancient battlegrounds, vast underground caverns and serene forests to crumbling sanctuaries forgotten by time, each area rewards curiosity with hidden lore, forgotten relics, and unexpected encounters.
Battle a wide variety of foes, each with distinct patterns, strengths, and weaknesses. Success demands both skill and preparation. Engage in reactive melee combat, unleash spells with precision, and adapt your tactics on the fly. Your build matters—but so does how you wield it.
Fatekeeper offers rich progression mechanics that go far beyond surface-level stats. Build and refine your character with meaningful choices across combat styles, attributes, and spell schools. Whether you lean into raw strength, nimble precision, or devastating sorcery, the game supports a wide range of viable and unique builds.
Discover, loot, and master a wide variety of weapons, armor, and artifacts. Customize your loadout to suit your playstyle, and experiment with powerful combinations to overcome increasingly challenging enemies. Every item matters—and the right gear can be the difference between victory and ruin.

Hi everyone, I just finished the entire Early Access content after 3.6 hours of playtime. I wanted to share my feedback because I truly believe this project has insane potential and I decided to keep the game to support the devs. The Amazing Stuff (Why I love it): Graphics & Art Direction: Absolutely breathtaking. This is one of the most beautiful first-person games I have ever seen. The arrival near the first house with the lizard, the mountain ruins, and the massive tower boss arena are visually insane. Combat & Physics: The kicking mechanic is elite and super satisfying (massive Dark Messiah vibes). Parrying and dodging feel responsive, and the difficulty spike is great. Also, the final execution/finisher animation is incredible. Atmosphere: The underground sections where you are forced to light up a torch to advance create an amazing dark fantasy feeling. Skill Tree: I went for a melee/mana build with skill damage buffs, and it feels great to play. Areas that need improvement (My constructive criticism): Empty and Linear Environments: While the game is beautiful, the underground section and the final arenas feel very empty and way too linear. Repetitive Assets: Exploration suffers from duplicated props. Seeing the exact same empty barrels and identical chests everywhere hurts the immersion. Lack of Loot: Defeating enemies doesn't reward you with loot right now. The RPG economy feels non-existent. Cutscenes: The introduction transitions for bosses feel clunky. The black screens between every camera angle completely break the immersion. Repetitive Soundtrack: The music gets old very quickly. The game needs way more dark fantasy musical variety to match its high-end visuals. You have a golden foundation here. Fixing these immersion, audio, and polish issues before adding new chapters would make the game flawless. Keep up the amazing work, Paraglacial!

Pretty but hated the controls and hated that I could not rebind block or dodge. Clearly needs more time in the oven.
The title has so much potential, looking forward to the final release. Great value for an early access game. It's clear the devs are trying to create something a bit different here, (even if inspired by might and magic), and the combination works well. the rat companion, the weighty combat, rawarding exploration and areas of true pitch blackness. It's a beautiful world to be immersed in and seems really well optimised, it provides a real challenge at points that requires adapting and experimenting rather than just tanking everything. once the gameplay 'clicks' it's exactly what i've been wanting. Steer the course devs, keep true to your vision and please don't succumb to the 'trying to please everyone' formulaic trends, we have enough samey generic slop already. This could really be something different.
Game has a good foundation, I hope the devs will add gamepad support and optimize the game a bit more.
Game has a lot of potential and it does some things really well which made me want to replay Dark Messiah (god i love that game). Unfortunately, there are a lot of technical issues with the game especially when you get near water and there are reflections and it's barely optimized. It is also missing a lot of basic UI things that will make your life a lot easier. Wait until they release a bigger update that fixes the issues.
It looks almost photorealistic but everything else and especially combat has been done better in other games. Gameplay is dark messiah without the fun experimentation or combat physics, it's a little too basic feeling, audio/ambience isn't really there either.
did not enjoy and didn't make it far in the game before I uninstalled game is basically a darksouls with no way to change difficulty. Very unforgiving combat wise and too fast paced. Too many enemies at once and no armor upgrades for survivability accept a helmet before the tutorial and then there is nothing at all until what I'm guessing is after the first dungeon as I never made it past the first dungeon before uninstalling. not for me.
Worse than Darksouls I do not like doulsouls style games and this game somehow managed to be worse, it has all the worst parts of a darksouls style memorize patterns or die and the worse parts of quick reaction fighting because it allows you to do neither. Enemies can stun you, very easily, so if you get hit once even with a full bar of stamina you'll be standing there mashing your attack button wondering why your guy is just standing with his weapon up getting hit. The AI loves ranged attacks and there is no shield, you do not regenerate either health or mana so you can't snipe from a distance and recharge. You will just have to reload a combat encounter over and over again and since saving is limited to certain spots you will have to fight the same bs fight over and over again. There also isn't a fun loot system, you mostly just get plants even from chests to make consumable potions.
Very promising, and for less price than a large big mac meal in Australia. -Fun combat, people calling it sluggish have obviously never swung a hunk of metal, combat is tactical, so use your environment, dont get cornered. -No Map, so I can actually explore and fgind things, progress a bit by accident and wonder what was in those rooms I missed, liniar enough to not get lost forever looking how to progress, but levels not purley linar, you find rooms or other areas etc, treasure. -Decent amount of melee weapons appearing early, spells, spartan kicking guys off cliff NEVER gets old -No difficulty setting, game treats you as an adult with half a brain, a refreshing chaange -Very beautiful graphics and levels -fun all in all, highly reccomend this title, the price is amazing for what will surely shape up to be a very good game really hope we see workshop one day, but for now, ill enjoy this.
