Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

7/10 (Bought on Sale) [First Far Cry Game] - Unique gameplay - Story is simple enough to turn your brain off, but enough to keep you engaged - I love how you can complete the main quests at your own pace - Side quests actually have weight to them - Some bosses just one shot you on hard difficulty (even with health stat maxed) - Defender units are overly tanky for no reason & can one shot you with fire

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 13: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Very cool to have a Far Cry set in the stone age. The people in this game speak a different language as well, lending it some authenticity, even though the action-focused setting is likely very far from authentic. The language is a made up proto-proto-indo-european. The game has you clubbing heads, throwing spears, shooting bows and taming animals. I played on the hardest difficulty, where technically enemies can't kill you in one-hit, but they can knock you down, effectively one-hitting you, which is a little annoying. I also played on survival mode which puts some emphasis on needing to hunt to survive, but it becomes irrelevant at some point. The need for stamina to fast travel is very dumb, as every fast-travel point allows you to refill your stamina, forcing you to fast-travel multiple times in a row instead of directly. The most impactful thing about survival mode might be that you have to look out for your animal companion more so that they don't die for good. The story is very simple and straight forward which I don't mind, though it could have been a little more climactic. The game goes on for a little too long in my opinion, since the absence of variety in weapons, tools, vehicles, wingsuit etc. makes this game more monotonous than other games in the series. I had plenty of fun though and Primal managed to feel somewhat novel which is quite the achievement considering it's Far Cry.
