Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 6.71/day in the week to Jul 30 → 7.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

fallout 3 is a great game for people who either have modding experience or direly wish to indulge a post-nuclear wasteland / hoarding fetish. the gameplay is wonky and crashes often. story is eh in this one; you really hafta make your own fun in the regards of role-playing. but the location design and vibe is very unique, which makes it a worthy experience for someone who wants to play as an imperiled treasure hunter or something like that.
Its on sale and there is genuinely no better time to buy a game that will make you feel small and lonely in the best possible way, the Capital Wasteland is one of the most atmospheric open worlds ever made and 26 hours in I am still finding corners of it that stop me in my tracks. Whatever they are asking for it right now, it is worth it, just google how to make it run on modern hardware before you do anything else and thank me later.
Not quite on the same level as Fallout: New Vegas, but a much, much better game than the dull, boring Fallout 4. Only finished the main story, but it was a fun and enjoyable experience from start to finish. It did feel a bit too short though—I finished the main story in under 20 hours. There are still plenty of side quests, locations, and DLCs left for me to experience, and I can't wait to return to the Capital Wasteland for a proper second playthrough—hopefully in the rumored Fallout 3 Remake. Bethesda, please release the remake already! Fallout: New Vegas > Fallout 3 > Fallout 4.
Bethesda
Bethesda broke this game's launcher in 2024 and never fixed it.
Fallout 3 is a brilliant, fantastic RPG game. Let's start with mentioning how this game is a true steal when it's on sale. For 6.70 dollars you get the Game of the Year Edition which has all 5 DLC'S! Only 6.70 dollars for such a gigantic amount of content ( both in terms of map and things to do ) is a good deal! Fallout 3 has a huge open world with 162 marked locations, and 225 locations if you have all DLC'S. Each location is interesting, original, there are settlements of survivors, enemy bases, and all kind of abandoned locations to loot, but almost always you will find things to fight in all those places! You will often find cool, surprising stuff all around, from a settlement of only children, to a city placed in a battleship. From a magical Oasis that resemble a Skyrim settlement to a community of friendly ghouls who inhabit the Washington Museum of History! The main storyline is very interesting, and there are many side quests. It should be noted that in this case there aren't so many main and side quests as in other Fallout games. Fallout 3 was made more with intention of freely wondering around the map and discovering the locations yourself. For example, in New Vegas you have many, many more main and side quests. There are many ways to complete quests of course, and each choice have consequences! ( like in all respectful RPG games ). There is a karma/reputation system that tracks the way you behave and interact with settlements. Great music and intelligent dialogues. They hired excellent voice actors and actresses. The combat is fun. You can engage in real time combat, like you would play a FPS title or in VATS mode: pausing the action and aiming for body parts, thus saving ammo and being more accurate. There are lots of enemy types: super mutants, enclave soldiers, robots, raiders, slavers, members of various factions, lots of mutated animals that became dangerous monsters, ghouls and so on...... Of course, there is lots and lots of combat. For some people that aren't used to such games it could be too much. But in RPG games it's like this. For me it was fun, and the more you level up and find decent weapons the stronger you become, so you can dispatch those enemies faster! There is an incredible variety of weapons. The leveling up and attributes/skill/perk system is excellent like in all Fallout games. There is lots of humor. The atmosphere is well done - it's post-apocalyptic to the core. What else to say. There are so many games on Steam ( awful, bad, average, decent, good, very good, excellent ) but only a few of them are true gaming gems. This is for sure one of them.
CLASSIC. I'm having fun and crashes are not incredibly frequent. I've kept save settings as is and i suggest you do the same that way time lost isn't really from that gap between saves but moreso if you get a flashback mid gameplay and realize you need to do things differently. I wholeheartedly believe in save scumming for fun. I think its part of the fallout experience honestly. Graphics hold up insanely well in 2026. I actually decided to run the game in vanilla and non modded to reduce crashes.
