If Mouse P.I was better
The game has a great setting, atmosphere, art style and humor. The level design and the levels itself are really well crafted and oozes atmosphere. If you are into Noir and Art Deco, you will really enjoy it! Here is what the game isn't: An Immersive Sim like the Steam Tags suggest. The Inventory system the game has, limits your playstyle drasticly and i think it's really holding the game back. You got 3 slots, weapon, ammo, health items each take one slot so you are forced to play the way the devs have intended, which at it's core is melee focused, stealth and ambushing enemies is really the tactic that is favored. Melee weapons have durability bar and they are really not that durable, meaning you are forced to scavenge for a different weapon if you want it or not. Firearms are powerful but as you imagined the drawbacks are, the ammo is scarce AND they take up one valuable slot which you only got 3 of. I am pretty sure it will be a one of the best "boomershooter" games once it leaves early access in 2030. And this is my major critique of the game, i bought it on release in June 2024, it is now end of July 2026 and we JUST got Episode 2. The first proper content update in 2 years, (NO i will not count the workshop update as content update) which is absolutely unacceptable, the amount of time that passed does not justify the content and quality of Episode 2. It should have been both Episodes 2 & 3 and 1.0 launch. I see the reviews are standing on Overwhelmingly Positive, which is great for the devs as it reinforces the good game they made, however even more so are the negative reviews that important and they should be looking at, which of course is a minority. Every negative review i read so far all tackle the dev time and the responses are all "Stay tuned for more!", "Update coming soon", "soon(TM)". This is not a great response, i understand development isn't easy but people still paid 15$/€ for the game and do expect content at a reasonable time and/or proper communication. My goal isn't to be rude to the devs, i know development takes time but it's important that they also know where i am coming from and others who mentioned their similar concerns. They must be more transparent and pick up the pace, just because the game is in early access should not mean you can progress the development when you see fit. This mindset will eventually destroy the goodwill of the people who supported your game through early access. I will be updating this review once this game launches 1.0. I got no doubt it will be a great game. Let's just hope it will launch sooner than 2030....

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2/day in the week to Jul 25 → 16/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Episode 1 is great and I was hopeful for episode 2 until we had to wait over a year for a few maps that have no where near the level of polish of the first chapter, not only that bugs everywhere ive mangaged to softlock myself atleast 3 times. If this is a pattern then episode 3 will be unplayable
I've had the same nightmare for seven years of Gianni throttling me. Now its come back, It will never leave. And I think I've come to peace with it, if such things can exist for such a mortal. Thank you new blood, very cool!!!
In its current state, Episode 2 is a mess. The Objectives are a little too open ended with their wording making it a bit confusing and good lord the optimization is horrible. For some reason after this update, experiencing even a few enemies on the screen makes the game chug.
the gameplay is great, i do enjoy it a lot, but some of the maps in chapter 2 have left much to be desired, and it is big enough of a thing for me personally to sour my opinion
Игра не заставит себя заскучать, ее интересно иследовать, продвинутый левелдизайн и бодрый геймплей. Бесподобный визуальный стиль и ганстерская атмосфера 30х на высоте. аудиосопровождение для ценителей.
One of the best ImSim games I've played. No joke. So many interactions with the environment and the combat. An open ended level design philosophy that is on point in a 2.5D engine with great and consistent art design, sharp detailed sprites and texture work... not that "PS1" copy paste style every indie game is doing. Highly recommend.
Первый эпизод невероятно хорошо сделан, шутер, который иммерсив сим. Жду второй эпизод.
Two whole years later and episode 2 is no where in site. If you dig this style of immersive sim FPS then try another one, there doesn't seem to be any tangible plans of finishing this one.
