For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Cats are honorable creatures indeed.
Picked up Expeditions Rome on sale back in December, started it now. It exceeded the expectations. So far I am in act 2 and I fell in love with the game. It is a delightful historical fiction that admittedly is more focused on the tactical combat and management of your Legion, but the writing is still very solid and having a good, down to earth political machinations rather than another "dark forces destroy the world, chosen one needs to stop them" narrative is a breath of fresh air. Turn based combat is great, with lot of focus on applying and exploiting status effects.
FEM!Caesar\Cato the Younger is now my favorite crackship, thanks devs
spoko. Zrozumiałem jak działają bitwy 3 godziny przed końcem gry
Expeditions: Rome 2 is an impressive tactical RPG that shines brightest when it leans into its combat systems. Visually, the game looks great with crisp environments, strong character designs, and battles that are easy to read while still feeling cinematic. The isometric, turn-based combat is where the game really excels, offering deep tactical opportunities that reward positioning, squad composition, and smart use of abilities. The final chapter in particular stands out, delivering some of the most engaging and satisfying encounters in the game, redeeming some of the slog in the earlier parts of the game (more on that below) The campaign is structured across four chapters and split into two distinct layers: legion and resource management on one side, and tactical battles on the other. While this dual-dimension design is ambitious, the management layer often feels like a slog (and I did take over 100 hours to get to the end). Managing resources and legions becomes repetitive over time and occasionally slows the overall pacing, especially when you’re eager to get back into combat. Narratively, the alternate-history take on Rome is interesting and fits well alongside the studio’s previous titles. Having played Expeditions: Vikings and Expeditions: Conquistador, this feels like a solid third panel in the trilogy though personally, the first two games still resonate more strongly with me (both had me feverishly looking forward to getting home to continue playing). Overall, Expeditions: Rome 2 is a good game with moments of real excellence, held back by its overbearing management systems. Still, if the studio ever resurrects and resumes production on the Expeditions series, I’d absolutely line up to see whether the next entry is worth it.
