Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Sep 2 → 0.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

É bom.
Hilarious dialogues. Funny campaigns. Awesome base-building. Easy on the eye, comic-like graphics. Gave me hours of entertainment and no real reasons to complain.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 18: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

If I could give this a neutral rating, I would. In places Evil Genius 2 feels like a downgrade to its predecessor. Although the game starts off fine, however it runs out of steam about 1/3rd of the way through and then drags on, and on, and on. Despite owning the DLC I feel this game lacks any depth. You have several levels to build from but you can pretty much build everything, except a quest objective, on one level. You're also hard-capped to 300 minions. All-in-all you have a very limited amount of choice to play the game the way you'd like. Sadly, it had a lot of potential that has been unused. Overall, it runs fine, graphics are okay, but gameplay quickly becomes stale. Not many Evil Genius kinda games, but plenty of other good strategy games out there. Grab this when it's on sale for a buck or two if you really want to give it a shot, or just stick with Evil Genius 1.
Hitler if he knew what the ♥♥♥♥ he was doing. 10/10
It really is unfortunate that this game was CLEARLY made by people who only played the original because they were TASKED with making the sequel and had to see "what this thing is all about!." Fair play, though, not something they should be faulted for. I ADORE their SNIPER franchise, they just did their interpretation of this one, and it is solid as a stand-alone offering. But fans of the original will not be happy. The original was/IS a masterpiece. Just an FYI: If you are able to NOT judge a MOVIE adaptation of your favorite BOOK, then you will like this game, if you loved the ORIGINAL EG, and play this one. If you are UNABLE to look at a movie adaptation of your favorite book as it's own entity without judgement, and you are a HUGE fan of the original EG..? then do not bother with this game. Just a service for everyone.. I KEEP trying to come bask to this, but keep going back to the original... :(
First game I ever had on steam and it is an absolute masterpiece

Jackie is STILL GLITCHED!!!
I really enjoy Evil Genius 2 because it’s so relaxing and slow-paced, which is perfect for me. The game isn’t too challenging, so I can play it without stress. The best part is the funny characters—they make me laugh a lot with their silly actions and voices! It feels like a fun spy movie. However, I don’t like that the gameplay can feel repetitive sometimes, doing the same tasks over and over. Still, it’s a great game for a chill time, and I recommend it to anyone who loves a light-hearted evil adventure. 8/10!
Masterpiece of a game. Fun and addictive. Definitely recommend.
