Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Sep 2 → 0.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
The game is good, it is a fun base building game that you could sink some hours into. But I had this bug where you cant progress because the agents get stuck at the enterance (on a certain map) so I coulnt play any further. Keep in mind this was like a 30 hour playthrough (alltough that is just me being slow with games and not the game itself taking 30 hours to get to the endgame (I think)). So I sadly have to give the game a thumbs down is because there is just to many bugs and the game is like to some extent unplayable. Its also good to mention that the game was abandoned back in 2022, so no new content will appear and the bugs wont disapear.
A worthy successor that respects the original. If you loved the first game, this feels like the perfect mix of a sequel and a polished modern remake. It keeps the soul of the classic Evil Genius while smoothing out the rough edges with much-needed Quality of Life updates.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 18: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

While its enjoyable it has limitations on it that the orginal didnt. Mods are non existant and you are limited in how many minions you can have. After a point you cant replenish them fast enough because the "good guys" are sending too many advanced troops and traps also become ineffective due to the sheer number. Get on sale if you must don't recommend paying over $5
Still unfinished. If you like the look of this game, get the 1st one & install mods. It was way more of the humour, fun and content.
Firstly, i need to be clear - this one contains a large amount of nostalgia for me and I still have the old CD ROM. As for the game itself well, there is a story, a plotline to follow and different "evil genius" and henchmen for you to choose from for a bit of replayability. There is a bit of base build to deck out your evil lair and prioritise what you are researching depending on your individual playstyle. However, whilst there are individual stories for each henchman or loot grab - the essential gameplay mechanics for each story are very similar and it can get repetitive after a while and there is also a high level of micro managing the world map (which was the bit that I found a bit tedious)- this is a game which is better played for a couple of hours here and there - rather than a solid "cant put it down" type of gaming session. Is it worth the money? - well you can get a good few hours fun gameplay before it starts to get repetitive - my recommendation - if you like this style of game - wait for the sale.
Ultimately I found the basic gameplay loop to be too repetitive to be very fun. Uninstalled without finishing the story for any of the EGs.
Game is ass dont play this slop
First game I ever had on steam and it is an absolute masterpiece
