Great game. Not sure what a lot of the negative reviews are about... like, did they even play the game? 40ish hours in and I've barely seen half of what's to offer. I still find new things and while the dungeons are a bit repetative, it's a microscopic issue for me. I have encountered zero bugs, crashes, or anything of the like. I have played only single player at this point however, so I cannot atest to multiplayer at this stage. It also runs great on my now 8 year old system, with some minor hitches when crafting large amounts of items as it seems to scan through all inventories to grab the necessary crafting items, or if many new islands spawn at once in my range. Apart from that, it's a fairly seamless process. The compaints from other reviews seem to stem around expecations of how a game should work... but in the case of Everwind it's taking a different path and it's quite rewarding. HAving to scavnge specific components until you find the blueprint, drives necessity for collecting things instead of leaving them by the wayside since you can just automatically make it like any other game. Everwind is different, and in a good way. Can't wait to see what else gets added... hopefully a DRILL sometime soon. I REALLY want to get some of the tech/scrap pieces to really make my ship "all the cool".

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The fps drops are unacceptable for such a low poly game. The dungeons feel like AI slop with no sense to them as they repeat over and over. And it feels like its a grind for grinding sakes.
I do recommend Everwind, but also I do have a huge problem with the world gen. Super early into playing this game and I already recognize the issue with floating islands as a design. The devs had a question to ask themselves, "How do we generate the world to justify airship gameplay?" and I think they went about it in the most uninspired and boring way - floating dots of interest. The result is a lot of dead time as you travel with very little to see and do. It gives the feeling of traveling through an endless void with dotted pit stops along the way. I know the ship will eventually get faster with upgrades, but that will never remove the dead space between islands. The islands were likely designed this way to help with optimization, I know, but if it were me designing this game, my top focus would be to get the game to the point where players can freely generate any world they want. Just think of how cool it would be to navigate your airship through something like minecraft's 'amplified' terrain - spiraling cliffs, vast canyons, deep trenches and interconnected floating islands. Instead, navigation is mostly relegated to traveling a straight line, and looking at the roadmap, it unfortunately seems the devs don’t have any intention of addressing that. If different terrain gen isn’t on the table, I hope we can at least get enemy airship combat to make traveling more interesting. I still recommend Everwind for everything else - the progression, the combat, the building, etc, and look forward to playing more.
Mediocre Unbalanced resources to usage amount. Especially lockpicks Chest loot are unrewarding, majority of the loot are blueprints or just building materials / furniture At its current state, pass
You can't recover blocks that you place, YOU CANNOT RECOVER BLOCKS THAT YOU USED RESCOURCES TO CREATE THAT YOU PLACED. They have to be DESTROYED AND THEN RECREATED, do you have any ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ clue how agitating that is, devs? You should have played more minecraft before deciding not to put in it's best quality of life features.
Two half-baked tutorial quests, a dozen remarkably empty islands, maybe two or three different types of enemies, two dozen structures that didn't have anything interesting to find, and two dungeons that didn't give us enough resources to upgrade our ship. That's what almost four hours of gameplay had to offer for my playgroup. No NPCs, no towns, no interesting looking bosses, no loot worth writing home about. More disappointing than the demo and totally empty compared to the trailers; I would recommend waiting till it's steeply discounted (like 5$ range?). Might consider checking back in two years to see if I can get the remaining 20$ worth of enjoyment I thought I signed up for when I bought it.
FIX THE MEMORY LEAKS !!!!! IT MAKES THE GAME UNPLAYABLE!! beyond that it is a good game so far but damn.....
Overall Rating: 8/10. Its great but it has some pitfalls that I believe will be patched up by release. Cant wait to see it become a hit. Recommended for all small friend groups who want something to chill on. Speed-round Pros and Cons Pros: -Decent combat and armaments -Good variety of enemies -Decently paced progression -Fun ship-building experience. Very intuitive controls and engineering system. -Good crafting system. -Compendium is expansive and helps explain a lot of gaps in knowledge. -Good exploration and procedural generation is seamless (though dungeons can be cratered if near the edge of an island) -Very very few bugs. I think collectively me and my friends experienced less than 10 in the time we all played (<15hrs) -Overall very relaxed experience and fun with friends. Cons: -Relatively low content ceiling but good content for what it does have since its early access. -A little grindy at times to progress. Some things are easier to grind than others. -Progression isn't shared amongst friends (recipes and knowledge). Details: From my experience it is a great exploration game with decent achievable caps on progression so that a player doesn't start speedrunning their way into higher areas yet and can take their time exploring and finding items, weapons, tools, and the like. The meat and potatoes of this game come in the dungeoneering and exploring aspects. Clear a dungeon, get loot, and use it or trade it, move on and progress. It has a simple crafting system that isn't overly complicated either: you gather the materials, you get the recipe, you go to the bench and craft it, and I've had my fair share of games where you gotta jump through a million hoops just to get the item you really want. Where it begins to falter from my playing experience is: 1) Content limitations - Currently a lot of the technology for the airships are not yet implemented so you are kinda stuck on the first primitive machines you have access to until these are updated. 2) Skull grind - Progression is based on verticality of your airship; The higher you go the tougher the enemies get. The problem is that in order to get higher you need to first grind out lower level enemies for a long time and be in the right biome for the specific skull to spawn. As another review said - if we could use any skull in its place then this wouldn't be too much of an issue. Mobs also don't respawn once you clear an island out either, so you have to keep moving. 3) Recipes aren't shared in coop. I'm not sure if this is a game design choice where sharing recipes should be a group decision, but I would hope that recipes in the future will be unlocked for the world rather than the player in the world so that new coop players that join don't have to start all the way from scratch again trying to find recipes other players already have. 4) This is just a nitpick/suggestion, but I would like it if there was an interface that collectivizes all the inventory on the airship into one UI. I know this can be implemented because the airship already pulls the inventory from all chests onboard so making this accessible as a UI i'd hope wouldn't be too much of a lift (pun not intended). Also adding search into any chest UI would help too! 5) Give traders more gold! It doesn't have to be a crazy amount but it would be nice if I didnt sell them 4 items and they are immediately broke. Its a good experience right now and it will only get better from here.
