Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 416.25/day in the week to Jul 15 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
This game is the most boring game I have ever played.

Gameplay:
I played 10 games, I did the same boring thing 10 times, this game has 5 minutes of gameplay. The content is ridiculous and the progression seems as boring as the gameplay. I feel like I'm playing an indie game created in 2000.
Graphic design:
Too old
This game is so empty that I have nothing to say after being so bored playing it.

If you like Sci-Fi games, come and discover what's available on steam.
https://store.steampowered.com/curator/45217343-SeniGamingSciFi/

Boy do I love Everspace, but it hasn't aged well. It came out when Roguelikes were really gaining momentum in gaming culture. And it really did a fantastic job of complete a run, get more upgrades, go in for a better run, repeat. That is the strongest selling point of this game along with the artstyle. The caveats? Boring story and no co-op. Unfortunately Everspace 2 didn't live up to the hype and they changed one of the best mechanics of this game which was the roguelike style. If they wen't back to the Roguelike mechanics, added co-op, either created a better story or removed it all-together, and added more variety in terms of ships, upgrades, and built upon core mechanics, they could have an absolute banger of a sequel. Will it happen? Who knows. Fingers crossed. Is it worth your time? Yes if you like roguelikes and can forgive a shoddy story. No if you don't enjoy roguelikes and power fantasy style games. Pick it up on sale if you're going to get it. I don't believe it deserves the negative reviews it has now. It's still a fantastic game. It's not perfect, but if you love science fiction and beocming more and more powerful as you play a videogame, this game will scratch that itch.
The game is just unfair to you. One moment you're a killing machine, and the next you're destroyed within seconds. Maybe you can't shoot or are doing something wrong? Nope. You elimininated bunch of foes or maybe the tough one, but why should you feel accomplishment? That's right! Have more enemies on your ass(literally, they jump from outside "the room"). Done with them, too? Have some more. Ok, you're dead. Congrats! Time for another run, I guess
Its strange to me that the ratings for this game have gone from very positive to mostly positive over the years and mixed recent reviews despite the game not changing at all. It seems that people may be judging this game through a different lens now but I do not know what that would be. Regardless while this game isn't perfect its a beautifully crafted fun little arcade space rogue-like. The game play is great and perfect for sitting down and going through a few sectors for short sessions, upgrading your ship and unlocking new load outs and abilities in subsequent runs. Something I noticed playing this vs other rogue-likes is I never really get upset when I die in this one, it always feels deserved. Whether I took on an Okkar Corvette thinking I was stronger than I was or I stumble upon an ancient alien being that zaps me from existence because I got too curious, its all part of the experience and you spend your credits upgrading one of the 4 unique ships and start again to stumble upon new things. There's definitely some FTL inspiration here but its not nearly as punishing (not to say this game can't be pretty challenging). If you don't like rogue like games this will not be for you. But if you want a time killer that will immerse you and take you on some great adventures then this is definitely worth a meager $20. As a side note the $10 DLC is highly recommended and adds even more replayability although it definitely could've been a free update. EDIT: Just in case my hours seem strange compared to the stance im taking, I spent dozens of hours in Everspace on PS4.
Its fun and this game goes on sale in bundles and on its own for only a few dollars. If you are a space sim vet it will take time to get used to the movement as this game does not use a throttle where you set your speed but more a fps move scheme. Other thing is probably start on easy as I would say normal is too hard to just jump in. Once you have some unlocks its more reasonable but I found easy made me tanky enough to get used to how things move. 7.5/10 for me playing in 2025.
Good game but still have not fixed the problem of randomly losing your save
Don't buy this at full price, and genuinely give some thought if you're going to buy at a sale. This is a story game that has the story take a backseat to a bunch of tedium. Its story is interesting and has great art! However, you'll run into maybe 5 minutes of story through your hours of playing this game, and all the rest of it is a very middling experience not worth the price-tag and certainly not something a development studio should be proud of or brag about. With the gameplay loop is a lot of -- often tedious -- grinding out resources and weaponry mixed in between fighting various clunky combats -- it very rudimentarily mirrors the combat of Elite Dangerous/No Man's Sky -- the game just completely fails to draw me in with any real stakes or meaning. Nothing about it feels particularly unique, nothing about it feels particularly great -- beyond the story you will barely even touch as you play. If a single dev made it, they could be fairly satisfied -- it has all the marks of someone learning how to properly use their toolkit and is a full and conjoint product, rather than feeling disjointed and being clearly unfinished. However, given that the dev studio behind it is actually toting that they're "an independent AA game studio specializing in cutting-edge space action RPGs," though, it was pretty surprisingly lackluster with a LOT of room for improvement. Given both games aforementioned came out a year before this one, it has no room to advocate that it's anything to be bragged about. They brag about being originally a AAA mobile game development studio, and it heavily shows in the middling product they made how the peak of mobile quality is just unfortunately not anywhere near the standard of quality that PC games have been accustomed to for decades, now.
