Successor to the roguelike RPG "Elona". Adventure, survival, crafting, home-building, myths passed down, and stories of humans and Elea spun. What scars will you leave on the land of Ylva?

Elin is a remake and successor to Elona, one of the most famous roguelikes of all time, but with a new coat of paint, better controls and a ton of new features. The best way to describe Elin is what happens when you take every JRPG trope imaginable, the basebuilding of Rimworld, the farming and economy of Stardew Valley and add it all into one of the deepest and expansive RPGs ever made. It's a game where you can play for hundreds upon hundreds of hours and still discover new things. That said, you need to know what to expect to fully enjoy it, This game is very deep, so prepare to look up how things work and read the wiki. The game is also a pure sandbox, and aside from the very basic main story there really isn't anything in the way of railroading. You need to make your own fun, which is very easy given how much there is to do. You can go dungeon crawling and take on quests, raising your adventurer rank to become the top rated adventurer in the world. You can build a bustling town, a popular tourist site or a quiet farm (but you'll need to pay taxes every so often). You can invest in shops and inns and become a wealthy businessman, etc. If you have any interest in sandbox RPGs or true roguelikes, you owe it to yourself to try Elin. It's a game that will only get better with time.

Such an underrated gem. If I had the money to spare I would have kept it. If you're wondering if you should buy it or not, and you got the cash onhand, the answer is yes. If it looks like a game you would like, the answer is yes, you will like it.
I just got my head blown to bits for being terrible at playing the harp. Would recommend 👍
