Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 3 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Eden Genesis is a platform game focused on fast-paced trials, quick reflexes, and a rich story by the same dev team responsible for Aeterna Noctis. Take control of Leah, a young cyborg lady, and overcome challenging trials to liberate her corrupted mind!
In the not-so-distant future, corporations rule the world providing ways of increasing the physical and intellectual capabilities of the common folk, at a high price...
Those who wear cybernetic implants are doomed. Their lifetime is coming to an end in a matter of time, but luckily for them, there may still be hope. The biggest tech conglomerate just announced a promising solution for this terrible disease!
You play as Leah, a young cyborg lady who joins this experimental treatment to find a cure for what is killing augmented people. Overcome the trials to unlock your full mind potential and eliminate the corruption born from the implants that are destroying your neurons.
Fast-paced gameplay - Eden Genesis offers a wide world full of trials that require anticipation, quick reflexes, and nerves of steel. These sections contain both environmental and enemy hazards, besides frantic platforming puzzles. Players must overcome them to cure the illness suffered by the protagonist.
Responsive controls - The game features an intuitive level design for the players to enjoy precise movement controls. As you become more skilled and Leah liberates more neuron links, Eden Genesis allows you to get even faster completion times every time you enter a trial. In a game with such scale and platforming, responsive controls are a must-have, allowing precise movement and combat.
A balanced platformer - While any player will be able to reach the end of the game and complete the main story and numerous secondary phases, it is true that Eden Genesis offers some extra content for demanding players. Many of the trials are optional, and these offer a level of difficulty that only the most experienced will be able to overcome. However, the main playable and exploration core is designed to be accessible to all players.
Deep story - Eden Genesis features a stunning plot including philosophic themes and debates about what makes us humans and the limits of science and technology. As every good cyberpunk story does, Eden Genesis makes the player question reality, and have uncertainty about the future.
Futuristic setting - The world of Eden Genesis presents a future in which technological megacorporations dominate every aspect of everyday life. Neon lights and cybernetic implants are the protagonists of a unique 2D artistic design, which gives life to an immersive cyberpunk universe.

Eden Genesis is a skill based game where you’re supposed to complete levels with an S+ rank. The levels are divided between normal and extreme levels. It can be a challenge enough to get the highest ranks on normal levels, extreme levels take things steps further. These levels are scattered in a fairly big map where you’re supposed to find them, search for collectibles and encounter some extra secrets/easter eggs/small side quests. The map is divided in different biomes each with their own visual themes. You can’t just explore the map freely from the beginning, biomes are inaccessible until you complete enough levels. There is also a fairly big focus on the story with multiple voice acted characters. The story can be easily skipped if you don’t feel like it. Let me start by saying how remarkable it is for this game to gradually make you a better player. I remember having a hard time clearing normal levels. I slowly improved and managed to get S+ with all the normal levels along with their mirrored versions. Then I reached the step of thinking about the elite levels and how they looked impossible. I obviously got S+ after all that trying and then there was a last surprise. Even for a person who hates speedrunning games, it was a delight to do it with this one after becoming so good, it turns into a fun challenge. This game is just so rewarding if you decide to put the time in and it’s a wonderful feeling. But we’re not done yet, the game does many things right. It’s super polished, the graphics are very appealing, it has lots of content (if you do everything), the music can be catchy and the story is entertaining even if it’s cliche. The game has 3 flaws, one can be fully fixed and one is minor. The biggest problem are the controls when it comes to using the beam weapon, with a DualShock 4 controller at least. You have to manually aim when using the beam. It’s not much of an issue with most levels because not much is demanded from the player. That’s not the case with the last few difficult levels, you’re expected to do many things in quick succession and flawlessly. An auto lock-on could have alleviated this issue. The second super minor problem would be the voice acting. Like it’s not awful, there are even some good performances, but it’s not perfect. Some voice acting feels a bit exaggerated, although this also adds a bit of charm. The last non-issue problem would be the combat levels. I HATE those levels, normally I would have raged if I didn’t have the means to deal with them. Luckily there IS an option to turn all damage off in the settings menu, basically turning those combat levels into normal levels since you can fully focus on the platforming. This option does not disable the achievements, so you can safely use it and improve the game if you don’t like those levels. Eden Genesis is not perfect but it feels like a perfect game because of how many things it tries to do and how much effort has went into making it. In a sense, it doesn’t feel like an indie game, it feels professionally made as an overal package. This can be an amazing game to the right audience, it succeeds at what it set out to do. I highly recommend the game to players looking for a challenging game that rewards all the time put in it. As far as I’m concerned, the normal price of €25 feels earned. It’s on sale often though, it can be currently gotten for €5 on steam. It took me around 32 hours to complete the game and get all the achievements. Most achievements are related to getting S+ on all levels but there are other types of achievements including collectible ones.

I enjoyed Aeterna Noctis, so figured I'd give this a play. This is a fairly unique little platformer. The way you move on platforms is rather creative I'd say, and the way this leads to challenging levels is as well. The "getting jumps back through hitting" mechanic, while not unique, works well with the rest of the movement set and weapons and I really enjoyed it. Challenging game, but fair. This developer does really good with their platforming. Tight and responsive controls. I was very impressed with the platforming in Noctis, so it's no surprise that when they focus on just platforming, it's good. Yes there is some combat, but it's very limited, and typically it's to get back jumps and move further. There are levels that are combat levels and they have beefier enemies, but they are rare. The art style is nice, and the animations are smooth when playing; cutscenes are okay, kinda psuedo animation. The music and sound effects are all fine. Nothing special. The gameplay is where the game really shines. It's a REALLY fast-paced precision platformer. Each level you are scored and the overall goal would be to get an S+ on all of the levels. Most of the levels are simple enough and I was able to get an S+ fairly quickly. However, there are some challenging levels, that are long, that require perfection. The story is kinda whatever. It's interesting enough to pay attention to, but nothing special. The dialogue all seems a bit off. English is not the first language of the voice actors, though they are mostly pretty convincing. I would have been fine with just text, but it's whatever. One thing that this studio does that I appreciate is references a lot of other media, mostly videogames, but there are media references like Hackers and Ghost in the Shell. There is actually a room full of references, and it took me a second to realize it. Two issues. The game froze a few times while I was playing. Not in the traditional sense. Everything in the game world was still moving, I just couldn't do any inputs. Not with controller, keyboard, nothing. After about 10 seconds, it would just start working again. The other was a bit more disappointing. I finished all of the levels S+, but still had three achievements left. I couldn't figure them out no matter how much I called or tried to interact with people. I quit the game a few times and it fixed one when I still had four, but the remaining three, no clue. I looked up a guide and just couldn't get anything to work. Overall, this is a fantastic precision platformer and I would definitely recommend it. The platforming starts off fine, but as you get just a little into the game, it really starts to shine. I got about 20 hours or so out of it. Asking price is perhaps a little too high, but I'm sure it goes on a reasonable sale occasionally, and I would recommend picking it up if you like a good challenge.
A very good game. Rare to see someone actually take the mantle of Dustforce and succeed! The game has a great amount of platforming challenge, expands on what Dustforce did with this type of game, while still retaining its own identity. Really a treat. The Hub with the levels is done in a engaging way, by incorporating small traversal challenges in between major levels. Always, there could be something more, but this is an extremely well executed game!
The intro and tutorial take too long and cant be skipped, cant be arsed waiting half an hour to actually start playing the damn game.
BEAUTIFUL! Just a great game with great graphics and great story!
For what it is, EG is an excellent experience. Precision platforming as an art and a science. Would I have liked the experience to be more cohesive? Yes. But if that's my biggest complaint, then Aeternum has fulfilled their purpose.
