A fun golf game that is relaxing and decent to look at too. I like the control system as it provides a challenge and is configurable. The character experience and level system does add a sense of progress. There are a good number of courses and modes for variety. Having previously played Rory McIlroy PGA tour I can say the other one had a more action feel to it for comparison.
Full of bugs. Game currently freezes on "My Career" at a certain point on PC. in the process of asking for a refund.

Bon jeu, avec des parcours variés. Les challenges apportent beaucoup de gameplay pour passer le temps en plus de la campagne.
First off, FPS drops are crazy. I expected a little more, granted its EA, but still. Ball physics arent realistic, your layup will roll 30yds. Once you get some shots/skills you can figure it out though. Mixed bag this one.
do not buy this game. i got it on sale and i still feel like i got ripped off. game wouldnt allow me to play the masters, never could figure out the bug. super unoptimized and buggy game. Update since my last review: I've since built a custom gaming PC, reinstalled the game on the new pc, and the game STILL crashes during the masters cut scene with no way to bypass XD. what a pile of garbage. That being said, i have played 200 hours now and it is a relaxing and fun game to play, but its worth like 5-10 bucks at most.
With the winter sale, decided to give this a try and glad I did. I am playing on the Steam Deck LCD with no special settings and gameplay is good to this casual gamer. Now, I will say the control UI to get the game started is a little wonky, but not impossible at all to deal with. One thing to keep in mind though: you will need and EA account to link with. Concerning game play and graphics. The game looks beautiful and some stunning courses. Having played a few of these for real, EA really nailed it there. On the player graphics and animation, they are clear and render well. Swing animations are smooth and the voiceover in play is pretty decent. I'd recommend this game and not get hung up on the rating.

It's golf, Grab your balls, grip your shaft and go fill those holes. If this sounds like a fun afternoon to you. Buy it. You can touch grass inside, So that's a nice bonus.
