The game sucks. The power thing that moves around when you go to take a shot will continue moving for another quarter second or so before it stops after you've already pressed the button for it to stop causing shanks or overpowered shots.

This game was so buggy and uncomfortable I returned it. Controller or mouse & keyboard. Lots of weird visual bugs in menus, laggy menu screens, buggy transitions. Feels like a bad PC port. I understand others have enjoyed it, I'm just not sure how.
Great game ......you need to struggle until you get good then its terrific. Bad reviews are from people with no patience to make you golfer better. Who steps onto a course and is great the first time ...No one!
This is bad! if you have played PGA TOUR 2k23 then do not buy this crap...
What in seven hells is this? I got this game at a deep discount for both my wife and I (2 copies), but we cannot play a private match using our own created golfers??? WHAT? We have been playing Rory McIroy on the Xbox where we both can select our golfers and play against CPU golfers... We figured this was the updated game from RM game and the is the main reason why we bought this game, so we can play online together! I can use my golfer, but she has to pick a pro... how lazy is this? That is just awful. I cannot believe before this sale, EA is charging $70 for this game.. that is just nuts!
gameplay is fine. EA is the problem. terrible servers and needing to be online in modes that are in no way connected to the network.
I do not reccomend the game because you need to be online to play the career mode and challenge mode.I bought the game just because I thought the career mode is offline but I was wrong.Not all of us have stable Internet connections.Maybe I will refund the game.
This game would be fun, if it would work. The servers disconnect so often it makes the game unplayable. The game play is fun, and realistic, courses are realistic, and immersive. I cant recommend when EA clearly stops caring about taking care of this game.
This game could have been so good, takes forever to play one round of golf, constantly loading up some ads about what tournament you are in. also you have no control over where you are shooting even though you nail the shot perfectly. It's just an AI game you are not playing EA Sport is playing for you. Sad to say game play is terrible, slight miss left or right and you go way left or way right and putting is horrible. You are on the fringe and you can't choose to use the putter and on the fairway you cant use the driver you are stuck playing the clubs you don't want.
