Good story, great combat, challenging platformer...
I remember being around 9-12 playing this game on the xbox 360 the story was something that I never fully understood back then, but still I loved the game. I came back to this game only recently and realised just how much I truly love this game, and now truly understanding everything I couldn't before has changed this from just being a game I look back on with nostalgia to being a feeling I can't even articulate. Even now I think this may be my favourite game please for your own sake give this game the chance it truly deserves.

Вообще, слышал об этой игра в контексте игр фурри, но могу сказать что по ощущениям оно больше вайбует мультиками анторопоморфных животных диснея по стилю персонажей, и геймплейно-сюжетно-нарративно-чилово играми 2010-х годов, чем она собственно и есть. Считаю это куда более годной, чиловой, красиво итд игрой нежели условные всемилюбимые холловнайты и силксонги по всем пунктам Бтв, где вторая часть?!??!?!?!?

disclaimer: this game used to be a "games with gold" game on the xbox 360 so dont take my steam playtime seriously. when this game came out with GWG around 15 years ago i played nothing else the music the art style the combat and story are something i can only describe as magical it might be old and by current day hardware standards could literally run on a smart fridge but this game is an amazing display of something you could call a passion project hand painted visuals mixed with a fantasy inspired soundtrack and good voice acting and fun light RPG hack and slash combat i dont write game reviews often but for this game i will an absolute 10/10 for me since my 360 died and its not backwards compat with newer xbox systems i'm glad i found this game on steam
Ein echt schön gestaltetes Spiel, dass sich selbst jetzt noch nicht verstecken braucht. Ein Mix aus 2D-Plattformer mit Action und geht in Richtung von Titeln wie Hollow Knight (allerdings hier nicht ganz so "heftig") oder Monster Boy und ähnliche Titel. Man könnte es wohl auch ins Genre der Metroidvania allgemein packen, aber eben doch anders. Um an weitere Orte zu kommen, benötigt man entsprechende Upgrades, wird dabei stärker und erkundet eben immer mehr. Steuerung ist flüssig und ist vor allem empfehlenswert mit Controller.
This game is one of a kind type of gorgeous. This game stayed true in my mind since I first played it on my father's 360 back in 2014. It was a constant memory and it's better than I remember. I see it's beauty and how it lives up to even this year. The voice acting is absolutely insane too. So many different characters with their own charm and personalities. The art style is such a refreshing thing to see and analyze. The combat I can say the same for. I love you, Blade of Ahrah. The animations for your combos and how everything blends together is such a nice thing to see. No choppiness, no issues. I highly recommend this lovely experience.
